Making children happy is always the very best thing. If your grandchild’s or child’s favorite cuddly toy is no bigger than about 20 cm, I have an idea for you. Here you can even knit two different models and use up leftover yarn at the same time. Both sleeping bags are very easy to knit and quick to finish.

This little shopping bag for the pretend grocery store is also very quick to crochet. If you give it as a gift already filled with lemons and carrots, it’s sure to spark excitement. It’s very well suited for beginners with some crochet experience, and great for using up your leftover yarn too.

If you ever need a quick little gift box, this pattern (with the corresponding templates) will help you out: The boxes are very easy and quick to make and are absolutely suitable even for a crafting beginner.

The scarf is easy to work up—the lace pattern is simple to crochet and is great for crocheting on the side.

As always, the pattern includes many informative photos and describes step by step how you can crochet this scarf yourself, even as a beginner with basic knowledge. For more advanced crocheters, there is also a crochet chart.

The scarf shown is 175 cm long and 25 cm wide, but it can easily be adjusted in length and width. It was crocheted using 2 skeins of Gründl Lisa Print (yardage 133 m/50 g).

The cheerfully colorful coasters are a quick in-between project.

With basic crochet skills these coasters are quick to crochet. As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes in detail all 3 versions (2-color, 3-color, 4-color).

Each coaster used just under 10 g of cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun, 115 m/50 g).
They are approx. 11 cm in diameter.
