what are your plans?

Dear Josefa, since the forecast calls for nice weather, I’m going to enjoy the sun in the garden. Tomorrow I’m baking an apple cake with apples from the garden. I know from experience that this kind of weather always brings spontaneous visitors to our place. Everyone wants to get out into nature and enjoy late summer—and my garden is the perfect place for that.

Hi, everyone. I’m going to bake a plum crumble cake and can some peaches. Of course, we’ll be having a barbecue, too. The potato salad is just finished. Mmm, delicious!

I’m also looking forward to a weekend in the garden with homemade raspberry-banana ice cream and delicious apple-plum cake. We actually wanted to take the RV to the Altmühl Valley, but it’s just too hot. We’ll postpone that for later.

Tomorrow I’m getting a visit from my grandkids 😘 

We’re having guests over today. Some friends want to check out our garden. The weather is great, and the sun is already shining brightly.

So I’m going to tidy up the garden a bit today—I want to make a good impression, after all. And then I’ll prepare a delicious dinner.

Tomorrow we’re looking forward to seeing our grandson; the kids are back from vacation.

I hope you all have a lovely, sunny weekend anyway. You’re all doing well—warm temperatures, and you can all still sit outside in the garden and have a barbecue.
Here, it’s chilly, with cloudy weather forecast for the whole weekend—no sun, dark and autumnal—and we’ll soon need gloves in the mornings. So it’s time to relax—crochet, tidy up, lounge on the couch, drink a cappuccino or latte macchiato, unwind, or just do nothing for a change.
This gloomy weather doesn’t really inspire you to do much.

The kids are coming over, and of course we’ll have a delicious plum-cinnamon crumb cake; the potato salad for tonight’s barbecue is just finished, so we’re making the most of this late-summer weather one more time.
