Arielle Triangle Shawl

Daphne Triangle Shawl

These two beautiful triangle shawls aren’t exactly easy. But with a little crochet experience, they’re definitely doable. Above all, they’re exciting crochet projects that are a lot of fun once you get the hang of them. And the shawls are real eye-catchers. You can find the patterns in my Blickfang-Design store. Feel free to stop by and take a look.

Once you know how, it’s very easy. But many of you shy away from adding beads to a knitted piece. If you’d like to try it on a beautiful project, I recommend a scarf or a shawl with beaded lace. Both designs are very beautiful and comfortable to wear, especially since they are made from cashmere yarn. The worked-in Rocailles seed beads give them their chic look. The beads shimmer with every movement.

I hope you have lots of fun making them.
Warm regards from Ina

If you’re experienced at knitting and looking for new challenges, you’re sure to have lots of fun knitting this merino children’s jacket, just like many other users. The pattern requires a bit of attention, especially in the raglan area.

The jacket is knitted top-down with raglan shaping, has a hood, and includes integrated pockets. Once it’s finished, it looks absolutely adorable when worn. Of course, the colors can also be chosen according to your own preferences.

The measurements in the pattern fit sizes 92 to 104, so it will grow with the child for a while.

This sweet first baby jacket, which fits up to 4 months, is also a lovely project for advanced knitters. It has a hood and a knitted-in heart lace pattern. If you’re looking for a baby shower or newborn gift, this jacket is just the thing. Later on, the baby doll can wear it.

Today I’d like to introduce you to three accessories for advanced knitters. They’re all knitted in the round using the double-face technique.

For men (though they’re just as suitable for women) who love to travel, you’ll find the “Kiwi Love” beanie in my shop—the kiwi and the fern leaf are the symbols of New Zealand. If you can’t travel right now, you can at least knit your way to the other side of the world ;-)

For the ladies, there’s a loop scarf brimming with love and energy—the Chinese characters knitted into the double-faced fabric stand for “Love” and “Energy.” You can never have enough of those, right? The pattern for the loop scarf is also available as a value set with the matching beanie.

And for the little ones, you can knit a reversible beanie with lots of hearts—thanks to the double-faced knitting technique, the beanie can be worn on both sides. The size is easily adjustable.

The C2 pattern for the blanket is simple, but the alpaca appliqué takes a bit of fiddling. This seat blanket is perfect for using up leftover yarn.

Knitting intarsia patterns is always a bit of a challenge. This knitted sweater with an ethnic pattern features an intarsia design at the top of the sleeves, across the chest, and on the back that requires a bit of your attention. In contrast, the lower section is worked entirely in stockinette stitch, so you can “take a breather” every now and then. With its colors, this sweater is perfect for fall. You can knit it in sizes 36–44.

This Advent calendar not only looks beautiful, it also has a particularly practical feature: it’s very space-saving—leaning against a wall, it takes up only 33 x 6.5 cm of floor space!

Made from cardstock, the calendar is 28.5 cm tall. It’s not difficult to make, but it does require precision and a little time.

Trenzada Braided Scarf
a scarf that’s a little different

-- to the pattern --

The scarf is a real eye-catcher and a small challenge to crochet.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes all steps in detail.
Crochet charts are also included.

The model shown was crocheted using just under 250g of Gründl Lisa (yardage 133m/50g). It is 160cm long and 28cm wide. The scarf can easily be adjusted in length and width.
