Scarecrow Victor shines cheerfully in the bright colors of fall. As decoration on the windowsill, in a flowerpot, or on the balcony, he is definitely an eye-catcher and brings a smile to everyone's face.
Victor is about 35 cm tall (without the stick) and can easily be crocheted from a few scraps of leftover yarn.
You can get the crochet pattern for Scarecrow Victor here!

Flower children are always a cute decoration for a seasonal table. My crocheted flower children are a little larger than the Waldorf flower children: they are about 12 cm tall and have bendable arms and legs, so you can arrange them in different positions.
For fall, these are perfect:

When the temperatures eventually drop again (hard to imagine right now, of course), the urge to snuggle up in a cozy shawl will kick in. The “Caresse” shawl is perfect for this. It’s knitted using a mix of materials and patterns and is suitable even for beginners with just a little knitting experience.

For walks in the fall, toddlers need a warm jacket. This colorful jacket has a hood and pockets, which little ones really love. The jacket is knit top-down with raglan shaping. Good knitting experience is recommended here.

For babies, there is a lovely warm outfit made from sock yarn, consisting of harem pants, a jacket, and a hat. A pretty knit-and-purl stitch pattern is worked into it. Knitting experience is recommended here as well. The jacket and pants are also available separately—the link leads to the savings set. The outfit fits from 3 to at least 12 months.

Of course, a baby blanket is also a must in the fall. This one clearly has a lot of heart knit into it. A pretty project for experienced knitters, also great as a gift.

A sweater made from sock yarn is the ideal clothing for toddlers in the fall. This one fits sizes 86–98 and is easy to knit. The solid-colored collar adds a pretty color accent.

To the knitting pattern

This baby's first jacket is knit in traditional Trachten style with a pretty heart lace pattern. It has a hood, so the newborn stays nice and warm up to 4 months. Later, a doll can wear it.

To the knitting pattern

This cardigan will then fit a toddler from about 1 to 1.5 years. It grows with the child up to at least 2.5 years. Easy to knit with no seams. Knitting experience is required.

One thing that definitely shouldn't be missing in the fall is leggings. These baby leggings are knit from sock yarn and fit from 4 months to about 1.5 years. They are easy to knit, provided you have knitting experience. And by the way, even the thickest diaper fits comfortably inside.

To the knitting pattern

For little ones from 1.5 to 3 years, these leggings can be knit. The yarn is the weight of sock yarn, which can also be used as a substitute. An elastic waistband is inserted at the top. And most importantly, they are super comfortable and move with every motion.

To the knitting pattern

And of course there are also leggings for 3-year-olds, which will then fit up to about age 5. Like the baby leggings, they are knit from sock yarn and keep children cozy and warm on walks or at the playground. Naturally, comfortable freedom of movement is guaranteed here too.

Something that absolutely belongs on every Puky balance bike or tricycle in the fall is a bag like this. That way, collected treasures can be taken along right away. Experienced crocheters can crochet the bag quickly. It has a double bottom so nothing can get lost.

To the crochet pattern

In the fall, it can quickly get chilly around the neck. That's when a buttoned collar scarf like this is just the thing. Especially for anyone who doesn't really like wearing a scarf, it's a truly great alternative. And it has another advantage too: it's very easy to knit, even for beginners with basic skills.

The collar scarf comes in two versions. One is made from cotton with 120–125 meters of yardage per 50 g.

To the knitting pattern

And the lower one here is knit from sock yarn or leftover yarn, meaning with a thinner yarn.

To the knitting pattern

If you prefer a loop scarf or scarf with a lace pattern and gradient yarn, this model would be just right. The pattern can even be expanded so that the scarf/loop can be adjusted in length or width to your own wishes. A lovely project for experienced knitters.

All four of these patterns are from when I first started digitizing on my own; I wanted to design a wall hanging for myself featuring typical fall motifs. I spent weeks working on the mushrooms and the hedgehog until they looked exactly the way I’d imagined.

Knitting pattern for a baby jacket in 3 sizes (0–12 months)

The pattern repeats over 2 rows and is easy to follow.

Knitting pattern for a baby sweater in 2 sizes (6 and 9 months)

A slightly warmer sweater is also a great choice for fall days. The pattern is presented row by row in written instructions and a knitting chart.

When the evenings start to get cooler again, it’s nice to wrap yourself up in a big shawl.

You’ll need to know how to knit and purl stitches, knit stitches together, and make yarn overs.

For this crocheted triangular shawl , I used about 400 grams of leftover yarn in various colors.

The pattern repeats over 2 rows and is easy to follow even for beginners with a little practice.

A wonderful companion for fall is this beautiful poncho "Cappuccino" - thanks to two cleverly placed buttons, this poncho is a true quick-change artist. Since the buttons fit through the lace pattern, there’s no need to work in buttonholes - so the buttons can be fastened wherever you like - creating lots of different ways to wear it.

Soul warmers are useful all year round, but they get especially heavy use in fall. Wonderfully practical, absolutely on trend, and super easy to make are the following three designs:

- brand new in my shop: bolero jacket / soul warmer "Rosalia"

- soul warmer "Safia"

- with over 2,200 sales, an absolute classic: soul warmer "kleine Auszeit"

... and of course, lovely table decor shouldn’t be missing in fall either -
Birdy and his friends - the three little egg cozy scarecrows will bring good cheer to the breakfast table. Excellent for using up leftover yarn, quick to make, and also a great gift or little hostess gift.

Decorative ideas for a successful fall

These funny little characters are a very original decoration. They can also be given to children on Halloween instead of sweets.

You can find a complete overview of my fall collection here.

What you should know how to do to crochet these figures:

For the ghost, witch, pumpkin:
chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, increases, decreases, crochet 2 pieces together, magic ring (alternatively, 2 chain stitches and work the stitch cast-on into the 1st chain stitch)

For the owl:
chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, increases, decreases, color changes, crocheting into the back loop, bobble stitches - are explained in the pattern

You can find what yarn and other accessories you need in the respective item description.

To keep your baby nice and warm on the go: With the SULLY car seat blanket, you can snuggle your baby up while out and about—it’s also perfect if your little one is already asleep. I was even able to take my youngest out of the car seat while he was still asleep, wrapped in the blanket, and move him into his crib ;).

It also makes a great gift for a new baby!

You can welcome the coming fall with colorful decorations. And these decorative garlands are a perfect fit! Even later, when it gets gray and dreary outside, the leaves on your window will retain their fresh, vibrant colors.

Each garland is about 80 cm long, but can easily be adjusted to fit any window or other surface. The leaves are cut out of photo cardstock and strung onto Perlon threads. They’re very easy to make and well-suited even for beginners.

I once embroidered this lady by hand and then made this autumnal wall hanging—just one look at it is enough to see how I did it.
I also named it “Autumn Storm” :-)
