Duplicate stitch / Swiss Darning

Hi everyone, since I mostly move in English-speaking circles, I just can’t remember what “duplicate stitch” or “Swiss darning” is called in German. So not a direct translation, but rather what you actually use. ;)

I think that’s the “Maschenstich.”

Thanks, I’ll check that out. I thought “Machenstich” was just for joining two knitted pieces together without binding off, but now that I’ve Googled it, I see it’s also used for embroidery. :)
