Weekend :-)

Dear users, dear authors,
have a great weekend, everyone. What are your plans?

Once the paint on our freshly painted kitchen chairs is dry, my husband and I are going to treat the chairs to new upholstery and fabric

I was actually planning to go out to the garden... but it’s starting to rain 🌧
So I’ll get behind the sewing machines and sew bibs and embroider them. Let’s see how far I get. 😊

Today I’m tackling my “She Sheds” project and am going to get down to business—I’m buying my garden shed today.

I also need some new needle tips, so we’ll be making our first trip of the year to the big city. 

The weather’s been unpredictable here, too. So I’ll be doing some crafts and crocheting. Let’s see if I can finish my unfinished teddy bear project.
Otherwise, I’ll just enjoy my time off and do whatever I feel like.

It’s raining today, so I’m spending the time on the computer. Tomorrow, at least for a while, it’s time to knit outside again—with our neighbor on her patio.

I didn’t really do much today except cook. Yesterday, I stripped the old seats and backs of my kitchen chairs—which I’d just refinished—of their old upholstery and padding. That wasn’t particularly easy on the arthritis in my right hand, but I wanted to do it; after all, there’s not much else I can help with anyway because of my existing disability. So today I kept my hand in a bandage and kept it as still as possible, because tomorrow we’ll continue—we’re planning to reupholster them.

We went for a walk again.
We enjoyed some wild strawberries and raspberries along the way.
