Knitted with a comfortable cotton-bamboo blend, this cheerful balloon dress with pockets is a great companion for little girls on warm days. The dress is knitted top-down in raglan style, with a faux cable pattern at the waistband and hem. The appliqués are crocheted and sewn on. The pattern is written out for size 92/98, but it can easily be adapted to other measurements.

Percy the Peacock is definitely an eye-catcher! The body is made with bright blue cotton yarn. The tail consists of round peacock eyes, whose final rounds are crocheted with eyelash yarn. This creates the feathery look.

A perfectly fitting bag for a Puky, tricycle, or balance bike—it’ll make a toddler incredibly happy. They’re sure to have plenty of ideas about what to put inside.

The Poncho Cube is knitted in a cube pattern using two strands of yarn at the same time. You’ll need 300g of sock-weight yarn.
For a relaxing finish, there’s also a slipped-stitch pattern and a lace pattern at the end.
As always, all patterns are explained in detail.

Alternatively, there’s also a pattern for a hip-flattering design. This requires only 200g of sock-weight yarn.

Summer is far from over, but it doesn’t hurt to start thinking about fall events and, when the opportunity arises, get a few things underway.

If the St. Martin’s Day parade is relevant for you and your child and you usually make the lanterns yourselves, then I’d like to suggest this one.

This knight’s castle lantern is made from photo cardstock and translucent paper, measures only about 16 x 29 cm, and is therefore easy for even small children to carry.

With a little crafting experience, the lantern is easy to recreate.
