A great beginner project is this pretty round collar, which also makes a nice gift. One leftover skein is enough for it. The pattern is written optimally for beginners. Basic skills are required, however.

Even dolls need to be fed sometimes. For toddlers, this crocheted food set is just the thing as a starter kit for the doll kitchen. It includes pasta, toast, a fried egg, butter, and vegetables. Everything can be freely combined.

All pieces are very easy to crochet; basic crochet skills are required.

This pattern is knitted using only knit and purl stitches. For the border, I chose seed stitch; for the cable-look pattern, you’ll find written instructions and a knitting chart.

This blanket is started in the middle, and its size can be customized individually.

Single crochet, double crochet, and chain stitches are crocheted. You’ll quickly memorize the stitch sequence, and the blanket is easy to make.

You can never have enough dishcloths, washcloths, and potholders. Especially when they can be crocheted lightning-fast and super easily.
The very simple yet clever pattern is perfect for beginners and all advanced crocheters who want to quickly crochet something easy in between:

Difficulty level: super easy, perfect for beginners
Stitches used: only chain stitches, single crochet, and half double crochet.

A summer craft project for anyone who doesn’t yet consider themselves an experienced crafter: This tea light holder is very quick and easy to make, and it looks great even if it’s not quite perfect.

The pretty sunflower is made of photo cardstock, measures approx. 14 cm in diameter, and is very well suited for beginners.

Very impressive, but still not hard for beginners to crochet: fruit for a children's play store:

The trick here is mainly to find the right colors. Then the fruit looks almost real. You can achieve very nice effects here with gradient yarn that has a gentle color gradient.
You start with very simple shapes like apples, plums, peaches, and oranges, where basically all you have to crochet are balls. Later, you can try somewhat more complicated patterns like a banana or a pineapple.
Here is the crochet pattern for 12 different types of fruit!

And once again, fruit for beginners:

This time, they’re coasters that look like fruit slices. There’s a small hole in the middle that fits exactly one straw. That way, you can also use the coasters outdoors as drink covers to protect your drink from pesky insects.
Tip: If you crochet the coasters a bit larger (just add a few more rounds) and crochet a loop onto them, you’ll have great fruit-shaped pot holders.

There’s no surface you can’t spruce up with this floral garland: as a table runner, wall decoration, or to embellish your curtains—the garland looks beautiful anywhere and is very easy to make.

The individual flowers measure 5 cm and 7.5 cm and are made from photo cardstock. The length of the garland is adjustable and depends on your project.
