These beautiful motifs are a wonderful way to unwind. The “Flamingo Love” potholders and the “Happy Dog” dishcloth are each knitted in double-face with cotton. If you have a free weekend ahead with plenty of time for knitting, they might be ready to use by Sunday evening!

With a beautifully decorated breakfast table, the day is off to a great start!

For all tea drinkers:
Placemat "Tea for two"

The honey is served by
Little Bee Hanny
in the honeycomb,

and anyone who likes a boiled egg for breakfast can keep it warm with the cute

May Beetle Egg Cozy
warm.

You can crochet all of this in one weekend if you're diligent. You'll need the following materials:

For the placemat:
  • 55 g cotton yarn (yardage approx. 165 m/ 50g , e.g. Catania fine by Schachenmayr) in vanilla
  • leftover olive green cotton yarn of similar thickness
  • Crochet hook size 2.0 mm
For the little bee:
  • 40 g cotton yarn Catania (yardage 125 m / 50 g) sunny yellow
  • 5 g fluffy yarn Lenja Baby Smiles (yardage 85 m / 25 g) yellow
  • 15 g fluffy yarn Lenja Baby Smiles (yardage 85 m / 25 g) black
  • 3 g thin crochet thread Diana size 10 (yardage 280 m / 50 g) black
  • 10 g thin crochet thread Diana size 10 (yardage 280 m / 50 g) yellow
  • 10 g Catania glamour (yardage 142 m / 50 g) white
  • Crochet hook 2.5 mm
  • Crochet hook 3.0 mm
  • fiberfill
  • 1 pair of safety eyes, diameter 20 mm
  • 1 piece of black chenille wire
  • 1 hexagonal cheese box, approx. 4.5 cm high (I used one from “Alpenhain Obatzder”)
  • or some cardboard to make one yourself
For the egg cozy.
  • cotton leftovers (yardage approx. 125m/50g – e.g. Catania) in black (less than 15 g), red (approx. 5 g), and skin tone (less than 5 g)
  • Crochet hook 3.0 mm
  • Crochet hook 2.5 mm
  • fiberfill
  • googly eyes (diameter approx. 10 mm)
  • hot glue
Have fun and bon appétit!

“Blätterrauschen” is a great cowl that’s really not hard to knit. There are patterns for 3 different lengths, but you’ll only need a total of 100g of yarn. So you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment quickly.

This cute baby’s first jacket is knitted in a traditional folk style. It features a pretty lace pattern and a hood. It fits up to at least 4 months and can be knitted from either cotton or merino wool. A great weekend project and a lovely gift for a newborn. Recommended for intermediate knitters.

This colorful skirt for toddlers (ages 3–4) could become your little princess’s favorite piece. With its variety of colors, it goes with just about any shirt. Some knitting experience is recommended, but then it’s very easy.

There is also a matching partner look with a doll (40–50 cm). The skirt, sweater and headband are knitted from the leftover yarn from the skirt. All pieces are easy to knit.

No plans for the weekend?

Then you can use the time to prepare some gift boxes for the upcoming holidays. By combining solid-colored photo cardstock, printed craft paper, and ribbons of varying widths and qualities, you can use the same template to create boxes that look completely different and are perfect for any occasion.

The boxes are made of photo cardstock, measure approximately 9 x 9 x 13 cm, and are very easy to make. You can find the patterned paper shown in the image as a PDF file in my store.

Tsubabiro can easily be crocheted in a weekend and goes well with a 70s-style wardrobe as well as with simple jeans and a T-shirt.

If you have a little time for a craft project this weekend, you could try making this enchanting little basket.

The flower basket is made entirely of cardstock and measures approximately 16 x 19 cm; the flowers are made of cardstock, crepe paper, and wire, and are about 15 cm tall. Everything is very easy to make, and thanks to the detailed instructions, it’s well-suited even for beginners.

Starting today, the crochet pattern for the hot air balloon is available for download! The hot air balloon is very versatile. It can be used as a yarn basket and storage for your craft supplies—or as a gift basket or baby basket!

The little hearts on the side can be used as pincushions. The small pouches are perfect for storing little items like buttons and safety eyes! You can stash yarn and fabric scraps in the basket!

Here you’ll find the pattern for the hot-air balloon!
