These spring blooms aren’t just very decorative—they’re also extremely useful, as they’re egg cozies that keep your breakfast eggs warm. With this attractive table decoration, your day gets off to a particularly good start.
Using just a few leftovers of yarn, you can quickly crochet snowdrops, tulips, bellflowers, and daffodils—and they’ll soon be brightening up your breakfast table.

When you crochet my flower children, you don’t just get the crochet pattern for the flowers, but also for the charming little flower elves that go with them! You can use them to decorate a seasonal table depending on the time of year, and add real flowers and finds from nature however you like.

Now in summer, these two flower children might be especially fitting:

Flower Child Sunflower

Girls like something small in bright colors. So I crocheted this bag with lots of little flowers; it’s definitely practical to carry and is
a summer hit.

The spring or summer meadow features lots of floral decorations, for example on egg cozies, as scatter decorations, and the placemats and coasters have a floral border. Leftover yarn or leftover balls of yarn are enough for this. All pieces are very easy to make, even for beginners.

A sea of flowers - Crochet pattern for a tablecloth

The flowers are crocheted individually—leftover yarn is also great for this—and are crocheted onto the flowers already made in the final round. This way, you can choose a new shape for your tablecloth as you crochet.

This granny has a flower decorating the center

A granny can be used in many ways. It works as an appliqué, for a garment, a cushion, or as a blanket, with lots of them sewn / crocheted together.

This is one of 8 grannies, all of which match in size.

Cherry blossoms in spring show that the dark season is over. Unfortunately, though, they are always gone far too quickly.

With the cherry blossom bonsai made from beads and wire, you can craft your own cherry bonsai and enjoy the delicate yet lush blossoms all year round.

Even if you have never crafted with beads and wire before: it really is very easy. In the pattern, every step is shown with photos and text so you can easily make it yourself.

These flowers are super easy to crochet and can be combined in new ways again and again. You can use the flowers as decoration in your home, on gifts and greeting cards, or as appliqués on clothing, bags, and pillows.

Since you only need a very small amount of yarn per flower, you can also give your leftover yarn a new shine this way.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for beginners with a little practice

If you love flowers and enjoy crafting, then you absolutely must have this colorful bouquet! The beautiful blooms can be made in every imaginable color and shade, so you can let your imagination run wild.

I made the blooms out of photo cardstock and used crepe paper for the stamen, stem, and stem leaves. The flowers are about 27 cm tall and easy to make.
