These two leggings—for babies and for toddlers ages 3 and up—are knitted from sock yarn. They are very comfortable, super stretchy, and still fit snugly and warmly against the body. Exactly the right clothing for little ones, offering freedom of movement while playing. Both leggings grow with the child for a while.

Both leggings are easy for experienced knitters to knit.

This collar scarf is perfect for knitting with sock yarn. Even leftovers are enough for this project. It’s very easy to knit, even for beginners with some knitting experience. Thanks to the buttons at the front, the scarf is very versatile and can also be worn simply as an accessory—for example, as a collar.

Seahorse Hippy was crocheted from some leftover sock yarn. The gentle transition of the colors looks especially attractive. For Hippy’s crest, I used Creative Bubble sponge yarn.
Hippy is 24 cm tall, is not difficult to crochet, and fits wonderfully into any maritime decor.

If you’d like to crochet a few shells to go with the seahorse, you can also make wonderful use of leftover sock yarn.

The short color changes in many sock yarns and the resulting patterns make the shells look very realistic. The pattern describes three different shells that you can crochet from your leftovers.

Leftover sock yarn is also perfect for crocheting doll clothes, since the yarn is nice and thin, so the clothes won’t look bulky even on small fashion dolls. Crocheting is quick and easy, since the pattern emerges all on its own.

The pattern for the sweater pictured above also includes the crochet pattern for the matching pants.

Even though Christmas is still a little ways off, it’s never too early to start knitting these cute nativity figures. The figures are available as    a set with all the figures, or individually, such as the Holy Family.

You can also find the other figures sold individually in pairs in my shop!

For everyone who suffers from cold feet even in summer, the Doubleface Spiral Sock Uzumakisen is just the thing.

You’ll need 40 g each of different-colored sock yarn for needle size 2 to 2.5.
The doubleface technique looks best with either a light and dark solid color, or with one patterned and one solid color.

The 3-page PDF pattern is for experienced knitters.

I love knitting and crocheting doll clothes from sock yarn. It is nice and fine and knits up well. Plus, you only need a little yarn for each garment. Everyone is sure to have these leftover sock yarn bits in their scrap basket. You can use them to conjure up beautiful doll clothes in no time and make the doll moms happy. Here are my recommendations. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself

Best regards - Yours, Ina

1. Cardigan for Dolls - Knitting Pattern

With just 20 to 25 g of sock yarn, you can knit adorable cardigans for small dolls. We knit them as top-down raglan, so they have no seams. The length of the cardigan is variable; it can be anything from mini to maxi. The shape flares slightly toward the bottom, creating a slim silhouette. Knitting these little jackets is a lot of fun and a little addictive.

2. Elegant Evening Dress - Knitting Pattern

Just 15 g of sock yarn is enough for one dress. The cut is very simple; we don’t need a closure. The dress always fits and looks absolutely stunning when worn. Thanks to the stitch pattern and the cut, it adapts directly to the figure. We knit with a set of double-pointed needles.

3. Poncho in Various Versions with Hat - Crochet Pattern

These models were also made from small balls of sock yarn. The poncho is crocheted. You can choose between different versions: without a collar, with a separate turtleneck, or with a turn-down collar. In the end, there will surely be several ponchos, because they are so easy to make and you can bring so much joy with them. They are easy to put on and take off. An ideal model for crochet beginners—you can’t go wrong.

I crocheted this blanket using leftover skeins of sock yarn. In the center, I used the small scraps, and on the outside, I had almost complete skeins left over. But you can also crochet this blanket beautifully using patterned yarns.

You start in the center, and you should know how to make single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.
