I’m going to curl up on the sofa with a warm blanket, some yarn, and knitting needles—the weather is perfect for it.

Summer has probably arrived here. It was nice and warm today, so we spent time outdoors on the patio.

Tomorrow, Saturday, we want to go on a motorcycle ride—the sunny weather is just perfect for it, and of course we have to make the most of every ray of sunshine we’re given.
We’ll pack some meatballs and cappuccino, and off we go. I’ll definitely take some pictures, but more on that later.

We picked up some meat for the grill and fresh vegetables at the market today, and now we’re sitting on the balcony with a strawberry sundae. The weather looks like it’s going to be nice—so we’re planning to go for a walk.

I made a quark-lemon cake and am taking it with me this afternoon when I visit an elderly lady I haven’t seen in a long time.

On Pentecost, we were able to celebrate our first church service under the new rules (social distancing, no singing, no coffee after the service)—but it was still lovely!
We took advantage of the gorgeous Pentecost Monday to go on a long hike. Our destination was the only waterfall in our area. We had to work for it, though: since we couldn’t find the trail markers several times, we had to take quite a few detours. Today, we’re really feeling it in our legs!
