New craft techniques?

Have you discovered any great new craft techniques lately?

I recently discovered fork crochet for myself. It’s also known as net crochet or hairpin lace. I’ve already used this technique in one of my patterns. The technique is easy to learn and a ton of fun. You make long strips that are then crocheted together. It can also be combined with knitting. There are so many possibilities... blouses, sweaters, scarves, triangular shawls, jackets... I’m definitely going to tackle a few more projects using this technique. So stay tuned.

I ordered the crochet fork online. However, it felt like I had to wait several weeks, if not months, before the delivery person finally rang my doorbell. I passed the time by making my own crochet fork out of sturdy pieces of cardboard and thick knitting needles. That works, too. However, I don’t regret buying a plastic fork with adjustable widths one bit. It’s in constant use.

I’m currently knitting a jacket using domino knitting....
The body is knitted in one piece—well, in patches—but without any seams....
  I’ve already finished 9 out of 73 patches 😊
It’s really fun right now because you don’t have too many stitches on the needle—a maximum of 63 here—and you decrease two stitches every other row... So it’s also a “quick” project to work on in between other things. And picking up stitches from the edges isn’t really a problem either....
