Tri tra tralala, Kasperle is here! The show is about to begin!
Isn’t Kasperle funny? A crocheted hand puppet like this isn’t hard to make at all. It’s very sturdy and won’t break easily, even if it’s handled a bit roughly or thrown around.
You can crochet Kasperle using leftover yarn.

For younger children,
finger puppets are usually more practical because they often can’t hold the large hand puppets properly yet.
You can crochet an entire ensemble for a Kasperle puppet show from your leftover yarn:

Here you can get the patterns for Kasperle, his grandmother, Gretel, Seppel, the crocodile, the king, the princess, the robber, the police officer, and the witch at a great bargain price!
With this project, you can use up lots of small leftover yarn scraps and let your imagination and creativity run wild.
