Do you like strawberries? Then why not crochet this cute little strawberry child, which you can decorate in all sorts of ways with real strawberries:

The little strawberry child is about 12 cm tall. You can bend its arms and legs because chenille wire is worked into the inside. This way, the little doll can sit, stand, walk, kneel... whatever you like. The crocheted strawberry is almost indistinguishable from a real one.
A few leftover yarn scraps are enough to crochet the strawberry child.

Victor, the cute scarecrow, is a wonderful decoration for your flower box on the balcony or for the windowsill. Victor is 35 cm tall (without the stake for inserting). With his colorful clothes and cheerful smile, he spreads good cheer wherever he goes.

Victor is not difficult to crochet and can be made from leftover yarn.

I used the following:
Catania cotton (125 m / 50 g), namely:
  • 10 g orange (jaffa 0189)
  • 10 g green (moss 0412)
  • 10 g brown (maroon 0157)
  • 20 g red (signal red 0115)
  • leftover yellow (gold 0249)also:
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 1 yarn needle
  • 1 round dowel, diameter 7–10 mm, length = 50 cm
  • 4 craft sticks 150 x 20 mm
  • 50 g golden-yellow natural raffia
  • a little toy stuffing
  • a small scrap of black felt
  • sewing thread
  • craft glue or wood glue
  • 1 black half pearl; diameter approx. 7 mm
  • possibly hot glue gun and hot glue

This mini bread basket, “Breakfast for You,” isn’t just a great eye-catcher on the breakfast table—it’s also the perfect size for one person. It measures about 14 cm in diameter and has room for, say, two rolls and a croissant. The bottom of the basket is crocheted with single crochet stitches, while the sides are knitted in double-face. For very advanced knitters, the pattern even includes instructions—in addition to classic double-face—that let you knit both sides differently so the text appears the right way around on both sides.

Whether you’re knitting it as a gift or for yourself, this colorful basket is sure to lift your spirits, even when you’re sitting alone at the table.

Here you’ll find more information as well as the “Mini Bread Basket: Breakfast for You” pattern.

This fun “Happy Dog” dishcloth is also knitted in double-face. Leftover cotton yarn in various colors is enough for it. Of course, you can also make it a bit larger and knit it twice, then use it as a pot holder.

Practical items for the little ones:

This bag is a huge hit with toddlers in particular, because it fits perfectly on a Puky, tricycle, or balance bike. That way, they can collect treasures or take their stuffed animal along.

Of course, a cover for a tissue box is also a must as decoration. This one even does its job on the dining room table, because the tissues are always right there - maybe even as a substitute for napkins. Especially indispensable in households with small children.

Easy to crochet; leftover yarn is enough.

The owl  and the little bear can both be crocheted very easily from leftover yarn. They’re especially popular with children. But anyone working from home is sure to love them too.

To keep your excitement for summer alive even on cool, rainy days, why not decorate your windows with some colorful butterflies!

These butterflies are made from photo cardstock and tracing paper and measure approximately 27.3 x 14.5 cm. With a little practice using a craft knife, they’re very easy to make.

Eleonore the Owl would love to be your doorstop

At a proud size of approx. 26 cm, Eleonore is an eye-catching piece to admire. She likes to be filled with sand and serve as a doorstop, but she also looks great on a windowsill. The stitch pattern is very tight, so Eleonore can also be used as a cuddly toy for your child.

In the pattern, photos explain how to crochet bobbles, what else you should pay attention to when making her, which materials can be used, and where to get them.
The crochet pattern is available in PDF format with photos and in a printer-friendly version without photos.

According to my test crochet team, even beginners who know the basics can manage with the pattern.

Do you think flower baskets are pretty as a decorative element, and do you enjoy making them? Then you might really like this model. Of course, you can adapt the colors of the flowers to your personal preferences.

Both the basket itself and the flowers are made from photo cardstock. The basket is approx. 16 x 23 x 16 cm, the flowers are approx. 17 cm tall, and everything is very easy to make.

For a large family (or simply one that loves bread), this bread basket with the inscription “Have a lovely day” is just the thing! It holds plenty of rolls and pastries, and it looks absolutely beautiful on the breakfast table! Of course, the basket is also happy to hold other items, such as yarn, stuffed animals...

The bottom of the basket is crocheted, and the rest is knitted using the double-face technique. The pattern includes explanations with clear pictures showing how you can make the basket, as well as the chart. You can either knit the pattern using the classic double-face technique (in which case the text will appear mirror-reversed on the back), or you can choose the tricky advanced version, where the text appears the right way around on both sides.
