This cheerful bread basket for one person spreads good cheer right at the breakfast table—ideal for anyone who lives alone but still wants to make their home cozy. The bottom of the basket is crocheted, and the sides are knitted in a double-face pattern.

Double-faced knitting is generally more suited for advanced knitters. With this pattern, even experienced double-faced knitting fans will find a new challenge—double-faced knitting, but with two different sides! The pattern for this mini bread basket for one person includes the knitting pattern for both sayings, “Breakfast for One” and “Breakfast for you,” in the classic version (where the text is mirror-reversed on the opposite side), as well as a version where the text appears the right way around on both sides. It’s a bit tricky, but really fun!

And here’s another small project for in between: this fun “Happy Dog” dishcloth, knitted in double-face. You can quickly make it using leftover cotton yarn. Or make it a little bigger and knit it twice, and you’ll have potholders. A lovely gift for all dog lovers!

Every toddler with a Puky, tricycle, or balance bike will love a crocheted bag like this, because it fits perfectly on it. The little ones are guaranteed to know exactly what should ride along in it now.

This sweet baby pinafore dress has a lace pattern that I recreated from a 50-year-old garment. It is airy, light, and looks absolutely adorable on a baby. Fits from about 3 months to 1.5 years.

This vest makes you look slimmer! That’s because it has vertical stripes, so many colors go well with it. It’s knitted with a fitted waist, and the front ribbing was worked in while knitting. Fits size 40/42.

The Poncho Cube requires a bit of patience or experience with Fair Isle knitting. But after 2 pattern repeats, the cube pattern is very easy to remember.
You’ll need 300g of yarn with a yardage of 400m per 100g.
With 200g, you can knit a great hip-flattering version.

Crochet Blouse Harriet

Learning a new technique is always an exciting experience. Hairpin lace or mesh crochet is an old handicraft art that unfortunately is used far too rarely. The method is quick to learn, and the result is something to be proud of. On the Crochet Blouse Harriet, it’s the fringe border that was made with the hairpin lace loom. You can find the pattern, in which I explain hairpin lace in great detail, in my Blickfang-Design store. Stop by and get inspired.

Stole Wisława

This beautiful stole takes a bit of practice. But the pattern explains everything step by step, with photos, a graphic, and several crochet charts. Feel free to stop by my store Blickfang-Design and brighten up your weekend with one of my patterns. Have fun browsing.

Sagoromo is a RVO sweater and an RVO dress—depending on what you’d like to crochet.

The size of Sagoromo can easily be adjusted to your own needs.

For the dress (sweater) shown, measuring approx. 74 cm (36 cm) in length and 60 cm (45 cm) in width, you’ll need 400 g (250 g) of 4-ply yarn (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic).

The five-page PDF pattern is suitable for advanced crocheters.

This tea light holder is a bit too complicated for beginners, but if you already have some crafting experience—and maybe even know the twisting technique used here—you’ll be able to recreate this holder without much trouble.

The tea light holder measures approximately 8 x 10.5 x 8 cm and is made from cardstock. In the illustrated craft instructions, I describe each step in detail.
