Made from a wonderful bamboo-cotton yarn, this colorful balloon dress feels comfortable against a child’s delicate skin, even in the summer. The dress is knitted from the top down in raglan style, and the appliqués are crocheted. The dress’s measurements are suitable for sizes 92 / 98. With RVO, however, the size is easily adjustable, so you can knit the dress larger accordingly.

Using the same yarn as the dress—or any cotton yarn—you can crochet the matching headscarf. The pattern is written for a head circumference of 48–52 cm and includes instructions on how to adjust the size.

This enchanting fairy dress is also knitted as a top-down raglan using a soft and pleasantly cool bamboo-cotton blend. The fairy appliqué is crocheted and sewn on.

The sizing in the pattern is for dress size 110 / 116, but it can easily be adapted to other sizes.

I crocheted it with Tahiti summer yarn from Schachenmayr (280 m / 50 grams), and it is a constant companion.

You should be familiar with single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet. The pattern repeat spans two rows.
