If you can’t make it to the beach right now to look for seashells, you’ll just have to crochet some yourself! It’s not that hard at all and can be done using lots of colorful leftover yarn. With this pattern, you can crochet 3 different types of seashells and further customize these designs by using different yarns and colors. The seashells look especially natural when you crochet them in pastel shades with short color repeats (such as sock yarn). A great leftover-yarn project!

Isn’t this a cute little kitten? You can crochet it using any yarn you like. It turns out especially fluffy with teddy yarn. (The pattern also includes tips on how to crochet with it.) But even with “regular” yarn, the kitten turns out very cute. The kitten on the right, for example, was crocheted using acrylic yarn (Bravo by Schachenmayr).

After Easter is before Easter, and you can always use cute bunnies—as keychains, good-luck charms, bag charms, flower picks, fridge magnets.... You’ll see—you’ll have to crochet lots of them, because they won’t stay with you for long. But be careful—crocheting these bunnies is addictive! At the same time, you can put many colorful leftover yarn scraps to good use.

Socks are always a good idea! Even if you haven’t dared to try them yet because of the heel, here’s the solution. With the mowi heel, knitting socks will be fun.

The pattern explains each step in detail, even using 4 different size examples.

Nassima Summer Scarf
light and airy lace scarf for summer

-- to the pattern --

This scarf works up quickly - the lace pattern may look complicated, but it’s actually very easy to crochet.

The pattern is, as always, richly illustrated and describes in detail how even a beginner with basic skills can crochet this scarf.
For advanced crocheters, there is also a crochet chart.

The scarf shown is 175 cm long and 25 cm wide - but it can easily be adjusted in length and width.
It was made using 2 skeins of Gründl Lisa Print (LL 133 m/50 g)

I hope you enjoy window-shopping and making them.
