Almost all patterns in my shop are suitable for leftover yarn.
Great leftover yarn projects are for example, crocheted bookmarks. They are quick to make, look decorative, and can be crocheted to match the book. They always make bookworms happy.

Maybe you’re not in the mood for Easter—in that case, why not check out Theo, the counting fish.

You’ll find the crochet pattern here:

Another idea is the Bellflower string of lights, which you can use to create a cozy atmosphere—maybe you still have an LED string of lights lying around from Christmas.

Here’s the link to the pattern:

Crocheted jewelry is also a great way to turn smaller amounts of leftover yarn into something beautiful.

The colorful spring meadow looks wonderful on the Easter table and can then stay out all spring and summer, continuing to bring joy. It consists of placemats, coasters, various egg cozy models, and scatter decorations. All pieces can be easily crocheted from leftover yarn.

If this play kitchen food is in the Easter basket, the little ones will be wide-eyed at first. Finally, they can feed their dolls the same food they have on their own plates. All pieces can be crocheted easily and quickly from leftover yarn.

For the play shop, a bag absolutely has to be crocheted. This one comes filled with lemons and carrots. Very easy to crochet from leftover yarn and a lovely surprise for the Easter basket.

These cute baby shoes with a heart are certainly an Easter gift that will bring joy, too. They are crocheted easily and quickly from leftover yarn.

Knitting a teddy from leftover yarn—is that possible? Absolutely! This teddy was designed especially for babies and is knitted entirely from leftover yarn. It can also be made successfully by beginners with basic skills.

This clothing—the sweater with the baby sleeping bag—was designed especially for this teddy, but also fits other teddies that are approx. 35–40 cm tall.  The sweater is knitted with raglan from the bottom up.
Everything is easy to make and can wonderfully be knitted from leftover yarn as well. Also a lovely Easter gift.

These two egg cozy outfits make a sweet little gift. They are fun and ideal for leftover yarn. Easy to crochet.

For doll shoes , just a few grams of yarn are enough

For baby shoes, you’ll need a few more, but you can also combine different colors nicely here.

Both models are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles.

And because you can of course make other things from leftover yarn too, here are a few more “neutral” suggestions:

Practical craft bucket with lots of compartments

Small round basket with a sturdy base

Heart pendant

Tablecloth weights

2 colorful little buckets for odds and ends

Pencil roll

24 pockets for an Advent calendar or Easter table

Spring Decoration: Chicks in Distress

Colorful acrylic yarn scraps are perfect for the “Chicks in Distress” door wreath!
This fun door wreath also works great as a freestanding decoration. The hen wants to save her chick, which has fallen out of the nest. Unfortunately, the poor worm has to serve as a rescue rope!
The crochet pattern is described in great detail and illustrated separately. Any experienced beginner should have no trouble recreating this!
A little tip: You can also make it without a wreath! Just crochet a little basket or use a small Easter basket. The size is also adjustable. My test crocheter used size 8 pearl yarn and a 0.7(!) hook; her chicken ended up being 11 cm tall.

Crocheted from colorful leftover yarn, these little spring birds look especially lovely:

The little spring birds are crocheted using single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and slip stitches.

You can use them for lovingly handmade cards and gifts, as appliqués, on a wire or skewer as flower picks, or on a ribbon as decorative hangers for your door, a cabinet, the wall, or a window. There are no limits to your imagination when it comes to using them!

The crochet pattern includes written instructions and a crochet chart for the spring birds.

You can find the pattern here

You only need a little yarn in one color for this phone case or tissue pouch. Individual granny squares are crocheted, and by adjusting the hook size and/or adding more rows to the border, you can adapt them to the size of the phone.

Go directly to the pattern for the bunny dish sponge here

For this small, decorative little bunny that knits up quickly, all you need is a small amount of leftover cotton yarn and a contrasting thread or a short piece of gift ribbon. For knitting, you only need knit and purl stitches, which makes the pattern suitable for beginners. The design is very individual and exciting. The pattern includes many pictures that explain how to knit and tie the bunny.

Go directly to the pattern for the egg cozies here

For the cute crocheted egg cozies, you need some leftover 4-ply sock yarn or a slightly thicker yarn. They’re finished in no time and look great as Easter decorations at Easter breakfast.

The little Easter eggs are not only decorative, but also super practical. You can crochet them as pretty cotton decorations, or make them from dish-sponge yarn to give as gifts for washing dishes or for exfoliating. You only need leftovers and can use them up wonderfully this way. A colorful change of pace, especially right now!

Mini cuddle cloth Duck Mia
quickly crocheted from a few yarn scraps

-- to the pattern --

Duck Mia is a loyal companion and wonderfully suitable for yarn scraps—less than 30 g of cotton yarn is used in total.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes in detail, step by step how you can crochet this cuddle cloth yourself, even as an ambitious beginner .

The crocheted duck is 13.5 cm wide and 11 cm long. I used just under 30 g of cotton yarn (yardage 115 m/50 g, e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun).
