The origami shopping bag is made using Tunisian crochet. This is a crochet technique that’s a bit like knitting. You’ll need a Tunisian crochet hook for this. The technique is explained in detail in the crochet pattern and is easy to learn, even for beginners. Once you’ve got the hang of the basic stitch, you can crochet along at your own leisurely pace. (So this project is definitely “TV-friendly.”)

For the bag, you only need to crochet the basic stitch; there’s no need for increases or decreases, since you’re just crocheting a rectangle that’s then folded origami-style and sewn together.
For the decorative border and the handle, you’ll go back to using “regular” crochet techniques.
The bag can be crocheted in any size you like.

With this original “Sunflower” dish sponge, you’ll capture the sun’s rays and bring them into your kitchen!

The sunflower is crocheted using sponge yarn (e.g., Rico Creative Bubble). This yarn is slightly scratchy, making it particularly well-suited for dish sponges or exfoliating sponges. It can be washed at 60° without losing its shape and dries quickly. This ensures your sponge always stays hygienically clean.

This pretty knitted cardigan with hat will delight the heart of every doll mommy. It fits dolls and teddies about 40–50 cm tall, as well as small newborns. Even colorful leftover yarn is enough for this.

The bright yellow bath sponge duck, whose relative has lived for decades in the most famous men’s shared apartment in the world, is very quick and easy to crochet from sponge yarn and makes bathing and showering—or even washing dishes—a pleasure.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for beginners with a little practice
What you should know: crochet start with a magic ring, crocheting in rounds, chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, multiple double crochet stitches, increases and decreases.

If you don’t yet have an idea for an Easter nest, I’ve got a tutorial here that lets you quickly make a matching little basket for it.

The basket consists of two layers; each layer is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 17.5 x 8 x 17.5 cm. This project involves a lot of work with a craft knife. While it goes very quickly, you should be comfortable with and enjoy using this technique. Otherwise, the basket is very easy to make.

Very easy to make and beautiful to look at—this little bouquet doesn’t need a vase, takes up very little space, and you can easily customize the colors to your taste.

The flowers and the holder are made from photo cardstock and are about 13 cm tall together. I made 12 flowers, but the holder can fit a few more, so you can make your bouquet even more lush.

You can’t go wrong with these tea light holders: If you work carefully enough, you’ll be enjoying your new decoration in no time.

The tea light holders are made of photo cardstock, measure approx. 15 cm in diameter, and are perfect even for beginners with little crafting experience.

Airy, Lightweight Lace Scarf

-- See the pattern --

This scarf is easy to crochet and features a beautiful lace pattern.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and provides step-by-step instructions so that even beginners with basic skills can crochet this scarf. For advanced crocheters, a crochet chart is also available.

The scarf shown is 210 cm long and 28 cm wide—but it can easily be adjusted in length and width. It was crocheted using a 4-ply bobble yarn, 150 g/570 m (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic / approx. 190 m/50 g).
