The pattern for this cute kitten is still extremely popular because it’s not hard to crochet and looks very realistic. It turns out best when you crochet it with plush yarn (teddy yarn). Use a cotton thread of the same color alongside it—that way, you’ll still be able to see the stitches as you crochet. You can also crochet the kitten using acrylic yarn:

Crocheted with cotton (125m/50g), it will be about 20 cm wide, 13 cm tall, and 8 cm deep.




The Leftover Flowers
Now even the tiniest bit of leftover yarn can be used! Here, for example, leftover cotton yarn (Catania - 10 g per flower) with a 2.5 mm crochet hook. The flower then has a diameter of about 7 cm. But basically any leftover yarn can be used with the appropriate crochet hook—the flowers will simply turn out smaller or larger (then, of course, the button also needs to be larger).
