You can easily finish this over the weekend, and you don’t even need a whole ball of yarn!

A great headband with a braided cable pattern! The “Ayleen” headband keeps your ears warm and is fluffy and soft. You’ll need less than 50g of yarn, and it’s an exciting, quick project for the cold season.

The two-color heart is ideal for using up small amounts of leftover yarn. For one heart, you only need about 10 g in the main color and an even smaller leftover amount in the second color.
Crochet several of them right away!

You can use them to decorate your table beautifully (e.g., for Valentine's Day),
because you can use the hearts as cutlery holders and as coasters.
Or you can give them as gifts filled with craft stuffing. They can also be used as pincushions or flower picks. And maybe you’ll think of even more ideas?

You can always use pot holders—after all, a little variety in your kitchen decor is a must!
This nostalgic milk-can-shaped pot holder isn’t just very decorative—it’s also practical, since it’s crocheted in two layers so you can slip your hand in from the top, just like a glove. To crochet it, you’ll need about 60 g of blue and 30 g of white cotton yarn, plus a 3.0 mm crochet hook.
You can find the crochet pattern here!

There’s also a matching pattern for a cup-shaped pot holder , also crocheted in two layers:

If you buy both patterns together, you can save money, as they’re available as a bundle.

Knitting pattern for a cowl. Your weekend activity is all set.

I knitted it with Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, yardage 120 m/50 g, and needle size 4. I used 200 grams to get a size of 20 (excluding points) x 117 cm. At this size, the cowl can be wrapped around twice.

It is knitted with circular knitting needles, and you only need to know knit and purl stitches.

Wrist warmers are quick to make, and with this simple slip-stitch pattern, they look great, too.
All you need is 2 x 50g of yarn with a yardage of about 160m per 50g.
