If you want to quickly crochet a bit of Christmas decoration, this is a great opportunity. All you need is some suitable leftover yarn, a crochet hook, and you’re ready to go.

The garlands can be hung on the tree or on a fir branch. They can also be used to wrap gifts very prettily. The possibilities are very varied.

The stars can be attached to gifts or used to decorate the Christmas tree. They also look lovely as table decorations.

Do you need a pretty Christmas decoration that's quick to make and lets you crochet up your leftover yarn? Then I recommend this 4-piece Christmas ornament set:

With this pattern, you can crochet 1 little bell, 1 star, 1 snowflake, and 1 angel. Use glitter yarn or cotton, depending on what you have left over.
You can find the pattern here!

Klemmi the Window Gnome

You can crochet a cute decoration with Klemmi the Window Gnome. This little guy prevents the window from slamming shut in a draft—in a funny way.
But Klemmi also likes to “hang out” as a decoration on Christmas trees, door wreaths, or gifts.

Bells for the Christmas tree / Christmas bouquet

Crochet pattern for small bells. Using school yarn, the bells will be approx. 10 cm wide and 8.5 cm tall. I love hanging them up as Christmas decorations in my front garden. I also like tying them to Christmas gifts as gift tags.

You should know single crochet, double crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches. The little bells are also ideal for using up leftover yarn.

If you’d like to make your own stylish and delicate tree decorations, I have a suggestion for you here.

These baubles are approx. 7 cm in size, easy to make, and also well suited for beginners with a little crafting experience. They are made from photo cardstock, but can also be made very nicely from slightly thinner specialty papers.

These angels in two sizes, made from sparkly sponge yarn, are quick and easy to crochet. They can be used as decorations, but also as bath sponges and shower sponges, bringing Christmas anticipation into the bathroom too.

Difficulty level: Easy to medium.
Only chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitches, increases and decreases, and rounds are crocheted, but you should also be able to skip several stitches and crochet a seam closed.
In addition to written instructions, the PDF pattern also includes photos and crochet charts for the part with the skipped stitches and the crocheted-on wings.

A wintry—and therefore Christmassy—eye-catcher in the bathroom or kitchen is the melting snowman. Thanks to its practical size of approx. 18 x 19 cm and the airy, delicately textured pattern, you can use it very well as a washcloth or dishcloth.

The snowman is crocheted using chain stitches, single crochet stitches, puff stitches, and slip stitches, and even ambitious beginners with a little crochet experience are sure to make it without any trouble.

We’re decorating the Christmas tree again this year! If you have a little time left for crafts alongside your other preparations, you might want to try making these ornaments?

The ornaments are mainly made of corrugated cardboard, measure approximately 8 x 7 x 5 cm, and are very well suited for craft beginners with good fine motor skills.

I’d like to suggest a wonderful decoration that can be made quickly and easily in three steps. First you need to
crochet a little, then fold it and decorate everything with beads. These decorations, measuring
approx. 8 cm x 10 cm, are perfect as Christmas tree ornaments for Christmas.

No snow outside in winter? Hand-crocheted snowflakes, for example in the window, create a wintry atmosphere and, of course,
Christmas spirit.  The snowflakes
are ideal as coasters for tea lights and cups, or as Christmas tree ornaments
as well.

Looking forward to Christmas ... decorating, wrapping beautifully, giving joy ... ♥
In the Schneckenkind shop, there are lots of crochet patterns for it!
All of them are described in detailed step-by-step instructions and supported with numerous pictures.

The St. Nicholas bag is quick to crochet and really roomy (big enough for a regular chocolate bar, for example).

Everyone needs a little guardian angel now and then!
And these adorably sweet striped angels are quick to crochet and make a wonderful little gift to bring along.

You can crochet the cute Christmas tree ornaments in no time! Whether as gift tags, sewn together in pairs as tree decorations, or made with thick yarn as window decor ...  ♥
