This round-neck scarf/shoulder warmer is perfect for TV nights and also suitable for beginners (with basic skills). It’s sure to be a big hit as a Christmas gift.
It keeps your neck nice and warm and looks very pretty, too.

This sleeping bag made of soft merino wool keeps your baby cozy and warm, and it’s also a great project to knit while watching TV.

It’ll definitely be finished by Christmas if you’re planning to give it as a gift. It fits babies from 3 to at least 12 months.

Easy to knit if you have some knitting experience.

This mini doll sleeping bag is also great to knit on the side and will be finished quickly, as if by magic. Every doll mom will be happy about a Christmas gift like this.

Easy to knit. The pattern includes two different versions.
The sleeping bag fits all dolls and stuffed animals about 20 cm tall.

Right now, when it gets dark early, it’s nice to get cozy on the couch in front of the TV a little earlier. But just watching TV would be boring—we creative folks always need some needlework in our hands. And that’s how the most beautiful things are made almost on the side. Here are my suggestions for a relaxing project you can work on while watching TV.

For more information and sample images, click the headings as usual. I hope you enjoy looking and crafting.

Best wishes - Yours, Ina

Knitting pattern “Timeless Baby Blanket made from high-quality merino wool”

Ideal for an evening in front of the TV, because the pattern is nice and simple and we also knit with bulky yarn. You can make the blanket in 2 sizes. They are made from cuddly-soft merino wool that can also be machine washed. So it’s ideal for new little earthlings. They’ll stay reliably warm without sweating under the blanket.

Crochet pattern “Endless Blanket”

Another ideal project for long TV evenings. We crochet around and around in a circle. Only 2 stitches alternate—and you’ll soon have the corners down, too. The blanket will be as big as you crochet it. That’s why it’s called the “Endless Blanket.” My choice of colors and materials is just an example. Simply crochet it in your own colors and yarn qualities; anything you like is possible.

Crochet pattern “Candy Pillow”

With just 100 g each in 2 colors and a suitable crochet hook, you can conjure up such a pretty pillow for the children’s room in one evening in front of the TV. All children will love it. If you give it as a gift, you might buy a bag of those candies that look just like the pillow :-)

These Christmas tree ornaments are so easy to make that you can easily work on them during an evening in front of the TV. Glued together from simple shapes, their appearance can be easily modified—you can adapt them to your personal taste or simplify them even further.

The ornaments are made of cardstock and are about 8.5 cm tall.

Whether as a cozy travel companion, a crawling or changing blanket, or even directly as a little baby bed for your dolls, this swaddle blanket is wonderfully suited.

And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a doll; bears and other stuffed animals will feel snug as a bug in it too.

This lovely cardigan / soul warmer is perfect for crocheting while watching TV, since the basic pattern involves working exclusively into chain spaces. Fun while crocheting is guaranteed, and the result is a wonderful basic piece for the whole year. Just slip it on and feel good.

This is one of my favorite shawls—quick, easy, and a lot of fun to crochet... and absolutely comfortable and fluffy soft to wear. Very suitable for beginners and wonderful for a TV evening.

This beautiful tunic "Mayla" is also wonderfully easy to work on while doing something else. The tunic stands out with its delicate lightness and an eye-catching yet very easy-to-crochet lace pattern.
The cut is also kept very simple, so the work goes quickly and easily. Thanks to the separate small tie belt, you have various styling and wearing options (see photos). With a long-sleeved shirt or turtleneck underneath, it’s also a great garment for the cold season.

The “Drifting Lines” shawl consists almost entirely of knit stitches and is perfect for knitting while watching TV. The shawl is knitted in one piece—no need to pick up stitches, and there are no seams. The direction changes in the stripes are created by shortened rows.

You’ll need about 200g of the main color and 50g each of the two contrasting colors (yarn weight: approx. 350m per 100g).

Definitely TV-friendly!
The cozy “Babushka” shawl consists of 2 stitch patterns that even beginners can easily crochet.
A 4-strand yarn cake with a 3.5 mm hook was used here.
But you can crochet the shawl with any yarn of the appropriate weight and crochet it either small (for kids) or huge (for cuddling on the couch) ♥

There are a few steps in this snowflake mobile that require some attention, but most of it—cutting out the snowflakes—can be done while you’re enjoying a cozy evening in front of the TV.

The chains on this mobile are about 42 and 47 cm long, respectively, and the snowflakes are cut out of cardstock and are about 9 and 5 cm tall, respectively. The mobile is very easy to make and is well-suited even for patient beginners.

In my opinion, knitting stockinette stitch and ribbing are absolutely perfect for watching TV! :-)
Knit yourself this cozy soul warmer on long winter evenings:

Knitted Soul Warmer “Goldregen” (S/M - L/XL), adjustable to all sizes

Small, subtle gold sequins are woven directly into the yarn and are easily knitted right in!

Nassima Summer Scarf

-- to the pattern --

The scarf is quick to crochet in between other things—the lace pattern may look complicated, but it isn’t.

The pattern is, as always, richly illustrated and describes in detail how even a beginner with basic skills can crochet this scarf.
For advanced crocheters there is also a crochet chart.

The scarf shown is 175 cm long and 25 cm wide—but it can easily be adjusted in length and width.
It was made using 2 skeins of Gründl Lisa Print (LL 133 m/50 g).
