I’ve been searching for this yarn without success so far

Specifically, Gomitolo 200 by Lana Grossa in color 210. It’s from the Fall/Winter 2018 collection and is no longer available anywhere. Even half a ball would be enough for me, since I’ve started a project and have now run out of yarn—a nightmare scenario.

If anyone knows where I can still get this yarn, has some they don’t need, or has a leftover skein—I’d be grateful for any tips or help.

As far as I can tell, there’s only one seller on Amazon, and they’re asking €50 per skein.
That’s absolutely extortionate.

Since it hasn’t been possible so far to get a helpful answer without a specific photo, I’ve uploaded the image along with the source, which is legally unquestionable. Please check the law instead of just deleting it.

Are you sure? I just entered this as a test. The only catch: they’re charging €13.00 for shipping. That would bring the total cost per skein to €30.95.

Have you tried eBay Kleinanzeigen yet? You can search there, or you could post a wanted ad. Maybe you’ll get lucky.

I searched for “Gomitolo 200 by Lana Grossa in color 210” on Google and got a few results, including some on eBay. See if you can find anything that way.

@mowi19 I think I’ve exhausted all the usual options. It’s always the wrong colors.
I’ve definitely Googled it at least 10 times using countless different search terms, images, etc.
Same goes for eBay.
That’s why I’m now looking here.
Even on Ravelry, there’s no one who wants to sell their skein.

Another option would be to simply call local yarn shops and ask.
Small yarn shops in particular often still have individual skeins left from past collections.
For example, I just called my insider tip (Bahl, Gelsenkirchen), and they actually still have 2 skeins of this yarn, but unfortunately not the matching color number.

But maybe it would be worth calling around in your area (if you haven’t already done that)?

Hi, I know this thread is a bit old, but I didn’t want to start a new one just to save a post 😇 I’m actually having the same problem. I’ve been looking for a specific yarn for quite a while now. It’s Lana Grossa Classico, color 041, Berry. I’ve already called around everywhere and, of course, searched online. So far, unfortunately, without success. Maybe someone here can help me—or even has some leftover stock... 🙏
