Do you still remember the fairy tale of Star Money? Here you'll find it brought to life on a beautiful door wreath.
The wreath has a diameter of 22 cm, is very easy to crochet around, and is decorated with stars, sequins, and the Star Money girl. In the 8-page pattern, all the steps are explained in detail.

You will need the following materials:
  • 50 g Rico Cotton Lurex cotton yarn (yardage 170 m / 50 g) in dark blue
  • 30 g cotton yarn or acrylic yarn of a similar weight in white
  • leftover cotton yarn (yardage approx. 125 m/ 50 g, e.g. Catania by Schachenmayr) in skin tone, light blue
  • leftover doll hair yarn or mohair yarn in blonde
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 2.0 mm crochet hook
  • 1 Styrofoam ring (half-round, diameter 22 cm)
  • polyester fiberfill for stuffing
  • 1 thick sewing needle for weaving in ends and sewing the pieces together
  • 1 fabric remnant (approx. 30cm x 30 cm) organza, dark blue (possibly with printed stars)
  • silver stars and sequins in various sizes
  • hot glue gun with hot glue

My granddaughter absolutely adores her alpaca Pamina! And it really is sooo soft and cuddly! With its big eyes, it looks at you lovingly and wants to be hugged and petted—quite unlike real alpacas, which don’t like that at all.

I crocheted her using plush yarn. To make the stitches easier to see, I carried a thin cotton yarn along as I worked. The ears, snout, and feet are made of chenille yarn and are also velvety soft. With this yarn, Pamina measures about 25 cm. She’s quite quick to crochet, so she’s an ideal weekend project!

These leggings made from sock yarn will keep your baby nice and cozy warm. They’re comfortable and still fit snugly. They even fit over the thickest cloth diaper. The leggings grow with your baby and fit from 3 to at least 12 months, more likely even 18 months.

Easy to knit - in one piece.

Note: I also have patterns for toddler leggings in my shop.

Every child who has a Puky, tricycle, or balance bike will love this bag. It’s easy to attach. That way, a favorite cuddly toy can come along for the ride, or treasures can be collected along the way. Especially practical now in autumn.

Difficulty level: medium - crochet experience is recommended

This jacket for newborns is a lovely project. It fits up to about 3 months for a normal-sized baby. It is somewhat reminiscent of a traditional costume style.

Difficulty level: medium

Spiral Socks Knitting Pattern - knit socks without a heel

These socks are knitted without a heel, so they fit across several sizes. I think they’re absolutely ideal for our children to wear in rubber boots. Thanks to the spiral shape, they adapt to the shape of the foot.

The pattern is written for sizes 14-18 up to shoe size 46-47.

Crochet Pattern for a Winter Window Decoration

For the “Snowflake” window decoration, you’ll need to know how to make chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets.
You’ll find a crochet chart, and I’ve also written out the pattern row by row for you.

This is a great way to use up your leftover cotton yarn.

Knitting pattern for a winter cowl. You create the cable-look pattern simply by knitting knit and purl stitches. This makes the model suitable for beginners, too.

Loop LiMaZo Knitting Pattern

I knitted my cowl with Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK, yardage 135 m/50 g, and needle size 4.5 mm. I used 200 grams to get a size of 29 x 130 cm. This size allows the cowl to be wrapped around twice. Of course, the cowl can also be knitted with another yarn with a similar yardage.

Fall is just around the corner. And as it gets colder outside, your daughters—or perhaps you—will surely appreciate a pair of hand warmers . They keep your hands comfortably warm while still leaving your fingers free to do things like use your cell phone.

My wrist warmers feature a beautiful decorative cable pattern on top, are knitted in stockinette stitch on the inside so nothing pinches or gets in the way, and have a shaped thumb. This ensures they fit perfectly and look great, too.

I hope you enjoy them. Ina

On the weekend you usually have a bit more time, but maybe not enough yarn for a specific project. So here is my second suggestion for a weekend craft project: a beautiful basket.

The "Rustico" basket is crocheted from leftover yarn. What’s important is that the yarns go well together for you. I usually crochet with 6 or 7 different yarns that I like together. For this, you need a thick crochet hook and a clothesline. The clothesline makes the basket very sturdy.

If you feel like making this project, feel free to read the 248 reviews from previous buyers and let yourself be inspired by this creative idea.

I wish you a lovely weekend and lots of joy with your crafts. Yours, Ina

Here’s the pattern!

The different yarns create a lively play of colors:

You can crochet the basket—with or without handles, depending on your personal needs:

Time flies, and it seems like the St. Martin’s parade is just around the corner. If you’d like to go with your child, you could use this weekend to make a lantern. Maybe this one?

The lantern is made of cardstock and tracing paper, measures approximately 28 x 26.5 x 9 cm, and its colors can be easily customized, so you can make several lanterns that look different using the same template.

These adorable little wings are quick to crochet and very versatile—not just as pendants, but also as tree ornaments, appliqués, table decorations, Advent wreath decorations, and more.

A wonderful weekend project is the “Caro-Line” shopping net.
This classically beautiful mesh bag is also very doable for beginners.
The slightly trickier parts (increases at the bottom) are described very precisely with text and a crochet chart.

You can make the handles any length you like.

This Advent calendar will probably take more than one weekend. All the more reason to get started now.

The calendar is made from photo cardstock, measures approx. 33 x 28.5 x 6.5 cm, and is easy for beginners to craft. But you should work very accurately here, so everything looks nice, neat, and straight in the end. To make it go faster, the painted-on numbers can be replaced with number stickers in a similar size. Or you can use large number stickers and skip any other decorations, or decorate the whole thing with small star stickers.
