Rudolph - The Red-Nosed Elk would love to be made as a decorative figure, a music box or a long-time companion in the form of a stuffed animal.

To do this, he can be filled with various elements - for example with rattles, crinkly foil or bells, and there is even room for a music box mechanism inside.

Even ambitious beginners can follow this pattern, especially since I’m happy to answer any questions.

Have fun crocheting!

A perfect Advent calendar—decorative, original, and easy to recreate, even for beginners!

Each of these Advent calendar trees consists of three layers and a container. All parts are crafted separately and then assembled using a thin wire. The little fir trees are made of photo cardstock and are about 8 cm tall.

If you want to have beautiful, hand-crocheted nativity figures for Christmas, you should start crocheting them early. You can use all kinds of leftover yarn to create your own unique nativity scene. In my shop, you’ll find three patterns for this:
Holy Family, Ox, Donkey, Star of Bethlehem

Shepherds, Sheep, Christmas Angel

The Three Wise Men with Their Pack Animals

In all the patterns, I’ve specified for each figure which type and how much yarn I used. Of course, you can also use a different type of yarn, depending on what you have in your scrap bin. It should just be roughly the same thickness so that your nativity figures don’t vary too much in size.
I hope you enjoy this reflective and creative project!

The heavenly orchestra—full of little chubby-cheeked angels with their musical instruments—isn’t that a charming Christmas and Advent decoration? You can also give these little angels as guardian angels. And they also look very cute hanging on the Christmas tree or from a little gift package.
Each angel is about 8 cm tall and isn’t hard to crochet.
You can find the pattern here!

These cute little elves make for an extraordinary Advent calendar. They can be crocheted in different sizes, depending on what you plan to fill them with. On December 24, there’s also the big elf house, which can hold larger gifts.

Leftover yarn works great for the elves, and you can really let your creativity run wild with their faces.

Easy to crochet with a big impact! It’s best to start now so everything will be ready in time.

A poinsettia in a pot looks twice as beautiful with this cover. By the way, it’s also a great gift-wrapping idea.

The cover is quick and easy to crochet, and it also comes with star scatter decorations.

Click here for the crochet pattern.

And if you only want the scatter decorations, that’s possible too. The poinsettias can also be used nicely as tree ornaments.

Klemmi the Window Elf

Klemmi the Window Elf is a great helper when it comes to drafts ;)

Put him in your tilted-open window, and the wind won’t stand a chance of slamming it shut.
When you’re not using him, you can hang him upside down by the loop on his feet from the window handle, where he’ll patiently wait for his next assignment!
Klemmi also makes a great decoration in door wreaths or on Christmas trees.
You’ll need cotton yarn scraps, stuffing, some white felt, and safety eyes. The pattern is beginner-friendly and includes detailed pictures.

This Advent calendar is small and compact. It contains 24 boxes, only eight of which are visible. Only when you pull out a box does the one on top fall down and become visible.

The calendar is made of cardstock and measures approximately 12.8 x 12.8 x 12.8 cm; the individual boxes measure approximately 6 x 2 x 5.5 cm. To ensure everything fits together properly in the end, you’ll need to work very precisely and carefully; otherwise, the calendar is easy to make.

If you crochet the St. Nicholas bags yourself, you’ll have completely unique gift wrapping that you can reuse every year. It’ll almost become a tradition!
These two bags are very easy to crochet. The festive sock yarn naturally creates an interesting texture, and the last few rows are crocheted with fuzzy yarn to make it look like a fur trim. The bags can be crocheted in any size. By adding different crocheted appliqués, each bag can be assigned to a specific person.

There are many ways to wrap a St. Nicholas gift – from the traditional boot or stocking to all kinds of more modern packaging variants that pick up on the traditional theme and implement it in an original way. This boot, which you can make yourself, is also part of this type of St. Nicholas packaging.

The elegant St. Nicholas boot is made of photo cardstock and measures approx. 17.5 x 22.5 x 8 cm. With a little crafting experience, it is very easy to make.

With a lovingly handmade St. Nicholas money gift card , you'll bring great joy especially to a teenager.

This card is made from photo cardstock and craft paper and measures approx. 21 x 10.5 cm (folded). Although it has many small motif elements, the card is still quick to make. If you already have some experience with pop-up cards, you'll be able to recreate it without any trouble.

Here are a few designs for Advent and Christmas from my shop:

1) These cute wings / angel wings are especially popular.
The wings are quick to crochet and look very pretty from both sides (the back looks almost like knit stitches).
Go to the pattern

2) If you need two mirror-image wings, this beautiful pair of wings with a heart might be just right for you. You will receive a detailed pattern for the two sizes shown, plus a brief description of how you can crochet them even larger, as well as an illustrated pattern for the heart.
Go to the pattern

3) What would Advent be without a truly beautiful and unusual Advent calendar?
The individual little bags are quick and easy to make; crochet one every now and then in between, and the calendar will grow piece by piece. If you make each little bag 3 times in different color sequences, you will get 24 individual little bags.
Go to the pattern

4) And of course, cute angels are a must: These are crocheted in one piece; only the halo is made separately and sewn on. If you place them over a small LED tea light, your magical little angels will glow in the dark.
Go to the pattern

5) And with these sweet angels you can beautifully decorate both gifts and your Christmas tree, Advent wreath, etc.:
Go to the pattern

In my shop you’ll find many more patterns for the Christmas season, e.g. Christmas baubles, bells, wings, egg cozies, stars, etc.

I’d like to introduce you to two of my Christmas crochet patterns. All patterns include lots of pictures and detailed step-by-step explanations, so they can also be crocheted well by ambitious beginners.

Lanterns LIGHT MAGIC

These lanterns are not only a lovely decorating idea, but also a lovely gift idea. With an LED tealight, they create atmospheric light during the dark season. All you need for crocheting is an empty yogurt jar and a skein in your favorite color, and you’re ready to get started.
Get the crochet pattern here: Lantern Light Magic

Crochet pattern for snowman, angel, Santa Claus, and fir tree

You can also use these cute figures wonderfully as decorations and bring a Christmas mood into your home. Place them, for example, on a piece of birch wood, decorate them with pine cones or fir branches. There are many different possibilities.

If you're planning to make the decorations for your Christmas tree yourself, then there are virtually no limits to your color choices. These baubles also look enchanting in any color!

The baubles are approx. 7 cm in size, easy to make, and also well suited for beginners with a little crafting experience. They are made from photo cardstock, but can also be crafted very nicely from slightly thinner specialty papers.

Here, the little moose sits in a mini door or window wreath, welcoming visitors during the Christmas season. The wreath has a diameter of 12 cm and is crocheted using sock yarn meant for Christmas stockings. Again, you’ll only need a few pieces of leftover yarn.

How quickly time flies! Easter was just here, and Christmas is already approaching!
This practical and original reversible doll Nikolausi-Osterhasi  will especially delight children. They are always fascinated by how simply turning it inside out turns the Easter bunny into St. Nicholas  - and vice versa! You don’t have to put this decoration away far after Christmas, because you can use it again at Easter!

To crochet it, you will need:
  • fluffy yarn (Doudou by Lang Yarns or similar, yardage 155 m / 50 g), leftover
  • Catania fine in white (leftover)
  • crochet hook size 2.5
  • polyester fiberfill for stuffing
  • thick sewing needle for weaving in ends and sewing the parts together
  • 1 sharp embroidery needle for embroidering the face
  • embroidery floss in black, red, brown
  • possibly safety eyes
You can find the crochet pattern here!

A nativity figure like this can be knitted relatively quickly, but if you want to make the whole group, you’ll need a bit of time. So it doesn’t hurt to start in good time.
You should be comfortable knitting with a set of double-pointed needles, and then knitting these cute little figures is no problem at all.
The nice thing about it is that you can use all kinds of thin leftover yarn and accessories that can be found in every craft household.

In my workshop, I mostly do hemp crochet. Curious now?
Here are a few impressions:

1) Bestseller Gunnie, the lucky gnome is now conquering overseas too. What a busy little guy. Wherever a gnome appears, something lucky will happen…
at least that's what people say;-)

2) Stars are always perfect at Christmastime.
The wonder stars are a composition of twine & yarn.
A truly wonderful farmhouse decoration. Rustic, cozy, and weatherproof!
Here’s the pattern

3) Farmhouse bells ...
quick, easy & hygge… Sometimes less is more …
Here’s the pattern

4) And then there’s the wonderful Rudi Rednose, who can be made in many yarn variations. Created with soft yarn as an appliqué, he can also become lovely gift tags when made with twine. Why not give it a try:
Here’s the pattern

5) And maybe an unusual star-shaped tablecloth too?
The Julstern in filet crochet retro style ... the eye-catcher for the Advent season and on your festive holiday table ...
Here’s the pattern

In my shop you’ll find many more lovely crochet and hemp-crochet ideas for every occasion. Beautiful things for home & garden.

Do you prefer it more classic?

If you want something a little more Christmassy, you can also crochet Christmas trees - for example, you can add one tree each day, and by Christmas you’ll have a little forest together.
Or you can attach numbers to the little trees in the classic way...

No matter which way you prefer it, a festive Christmas mood is guaranteed.

A wonderful Christmas gift - decorative “Snowflakes”

       To the pattern

This year I made snowflakes for Christmas. One snowflake has a diameter of approx. 15 cm and looks similar to a little star.
The snowflakes make wonderful Christmas tree decorations and can also be used
as door or window decorations, or as coasters for candle holders.
A snowflake can be crocheted very quickly. Only a small amount of yarn is needed. An ideal way to use up leftovers!

Of course, dear Josefa :-)

A small shower sponge angel (approx. 12.5 x 9 cm) and a larger bath sponge angel (approx. 18 x 12 cm) that bring a touch of Christmas anticipation into your bathroom.
But they also make great guardian angels for you or a loved one.

The angels are easy to crochet using single crochet, double crochet, slip stitches, and chain stitches; however, there is one slightly trickier spot where stitches are skipped and another spot where a seam is crocheted closed. For this reason, the angels aren’t really suitable for beginners.

Both angels are included in one pattern. The pattern is available here

Frosti, the Little Snowman

Frosti is crocheted with cotton yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook. Since the mittens and little boots are crocheted on directly and this part is a bit tricky, the pattern is primarily intended for advanced crocheters.

Because of his small size (11 cm), he is very well suited for Christmas decorations, but also as a little bringer of good cheer.

Have fun crocheting him!

Santa Claus is on his way to you!

You can decorate this wonderful Christmas decoration differently again and again. Since the pieces are not firmly attached to each other and Santa’s limbs are bendable, this decoration can look a little different every day. That also makes it perfect as an Advent calendar: the surprise is placed in the sack or on the sleigh in the evening, and in the morning it can be unwrapped. This way, curious little ones won’t be tempted to open the packages early or peek inside.

You can use leftover yarn for this crochet project.
You can find a detailed materials list and the crochet pattern here!

These 4 different snowflakes are quick to crochet from leftover yarn and are perfect as decorations for greeting cards or small packages—making it easy to give your gifts a personal touch.
You can also use them as tree ornaments, or to festively decorate napkin rings, for example.
