“Just one more row so I can see how it goes…” You all know that feeling, right?
It’s so exciting to watch what starts as indefinable patches slowly turn into a pattern—you just don’t want to stop.
That’s why this decorative beach bag is perfect for anyone who loves varied craft projects. It’s crocheted using the tapestry technique with double crochet stitches. This makes it very sturdy, and the pattern is easy to work.
You’ll crochet with two colors of cotton yarn (125 m / 50 g). You’ll need about 5 skeins of the dark color and four of the light color.
The crochet pattern for the beach bag is available here!
And if you have a few scraps left over or want to practice the tapestry technique first, I recommend this glasses case, which matches the beach bag perfectly:

It measures 21 x 8 cm, and you’ll need 25 g of the light color and 8 g of the dark color.
You can find the pattern for the glasses case here!
These two pot holders are also crocheted using the tapestry technique.

They’re crocheted in double layers so you can slip your hand in from the bottom like a glove. Thanks to the tapestry technique, which leaves no floats visible on the back, you can crochet them easily.
