Oh, is it that late already? Look, your little sheep already has its eyes closed too...

With such a sweet little lamb, every child will happily go to bed. It is soft and cuddly, and if you crochet it with suitably thick yarn, it will be big enough for you to add a music box as well. That has the advantage that you can choose the melody yourself. So it will be a truly one-of-a-kind gift!

The little sheep is not hard to crochet, because only single crochet stitches are used. If you dare to try cuddly yarn (the pattern includes lots of valuable tips for that), it will turn out especially soft and plushy: you can then hardly tell that it was crocheted at all. But of course you can also use other yarn (e.g., acrylic yarn); it is soft too and can be brushed a little at the end.

You can download the pattern here.

Little girls love mermaids. And little girls love Barbie dolls!

With this, you’re sure to make any girl incredibly happy: a complete outfit to transform Barbie into a little mermaid. The fishtail is crocheted from just a little leftover yarn—you’ll need even less for the top and the hair accessory. The tail is super easy to crochet, so even some little girls will probably be able to manage it. She might need a little help with the top and the hair accessory because everything is so small, but that’s not difficult either.

Very popular—especially at the end of summer—is the pattern for the felted shoes with roll-top cuffs. If you leave off the roll-top cuff, they become ballet flats—also lovely, if that’s what you prefer. You can make them in all colors and sizes: for yourselves, for the kids, the grandkids, friends, as gifts, or as guest slippers. Your feet always stay warm in them without getting sweaty. They adapt to every foot shape and are super cozy and comfortable.

I’ve already made very, very many of these, so you can also look at lots of examples. And of course read the reviews—and then simply get started yourself. You knit them; the washing machine takes care of the felting.

I hope you have lots of fun with this pattern and always warm feet. Yours, Ina

Another cute little project that’s very popular with crocheters and doll moms: the 3-piece doll fashion set. It consists of 3 pieces: a skirt, a top, and a bolero. It’s very easy to crochet, even for knitting beginners, since I show and explain everything in detail. You don’t always have to buy things like this - if you can crochet, you can make them yourself!

I hope you enjoy this project. Yours, Ina

A timelessly beautiful, high-quality baby blanket is always the perfect gift for a baby or toddler. Little ones need plenty of warmth without getting sweaty underneath. The high-quality merino wool this blanket is made from will bring you lots of joy. It has all the wonderful qualities that make a blanket an ideal cozy blanket. And you can even wash it in the washing machine (without fabric softener, of course).

The pattern is very simple, even for knitting beginners. I explain and show you everything in detail.

I hope you enjoy this beautiful project. My grandson loves his blankets—I knitted them for him, after all (one smaller and one larger). He takes them everywhere and they’re practically always in use.

May I introduce — Baby Loui
He’s a little curly-haired baby boy who can be fully dressed and undressed.
But what he loves most is his pacifier, and if it’s ever missing, he simply uses his thumb. Both fit in his mouth.

Knitting pattern for a scarf - also suitable for beginners, as this pattern uses only knit and purl stitches.

In the pattern, you’ll find written instructions row by row, and I have also included a knitting chart for you.

Even though August is known as the sunny month, you can already get a head start on the coming fall and winter. That's why I'd like to show you two of my hats. Both beanies are also suitable for crochet beginners with a little crochet experience, since they are started from the cuff. This means there are no increases or decreases.

Crochet pattern for Beanie HERBSTFREUDE

This beanie is worked in stripes, which you can crochet either in different colors or in a single color. In principle, any yarn and almost any yarn weight can be used.

Crochet pattern for Beanie KUSCHELGLÜCK

This hat is also easy to crochet. After the cuff, it has a repeating pattern repeat, so you can crochet it in a completely relaxed way. You can keep trying out new color variations. Here, too, any yarn and any yarn weight can be used. The finer the yarn, the finer the stitch pattern will be. And the chunkier the yarn, the chunkier the stitch pattern. You decide what you like best.

Unfortunately, some Christmas preparations can’t be made until December, but for others, August is the perfect time to get started. For example, you can already start making Advent calendars.

This calendar is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 28 x 4.5 x 32 cm. The individual boxes measure approximately 4.5 x 4.5 x 7.8 cm; they’re glued in just one spot and held together by the tabs. The calendar is very easy to make and is also suitable for beginners.
