dear little helpers,

what are you working on right now?

I’m still working on my cross-stitch blanket. It’s incredibly relaxing. In the evenings, when the light isn’t as good for that, I tinker with new crochet patterns.

I have to cobble together a pants pattern to fit my figure, which has become quite crooked over time. My daughter took my measurements—she’s a seamstress too and knows how to do it properly.
When I saw the measurements, I thought, “Oh wow, that much!” and was glad I’d once trained in pattern construction and as a women’s clothing seamstress.

It’s very warm here today. I’ve had a quiet day so far. I’m about to wake up Anton, and then we’re heading out to the garden. There’s a kiddie pool waiting for us. :-)

I had a lovely afternoon with friends at a café. I’ve just been under the refreshing garden shower and decided to continue writing a pattern I started back in the summer of 2018. It has cooled down enough now that it’s bearable in the shade too. I hope I’ll enjoy crocheting with cotton yarn. 

I had a lovely afternoon in the garden and made good progress on my new project. I’m crocheting a doorstop.

Right now, I’m working on a knitted hat.
Every now and then, I crochet a stitch or two on my tablecloth.
