The little mouse has wanderlust too. She climbs into her hot air balloon and off she flies, high up in the air...

If you would like to crochet this sweet decoration, you will need:
  • 50 g each cotton yarn (yardage approx. 125 m/ 50 g, e.g. Catania by Schachenmayr) in the colors light gray, mint,
    natural
  • Leftover Estivo II in light gray (can also be replaced with Catania light gray)
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
  • Polyester stuffing for filling
  • Styrofoam ball, diameter 15 cm,
  • possibly safety eyes
  • 1 thick sewing needle for weaving in ends and sewing the pieces together
  • 1 sharp embroidery needle for embroidering the nose (and eyes)
  • sturdy black thread for the mouse’s whiskers
  • embroidery floss, black
  • possibly a small cardboard tube (toilet paper roll) to reinforce the basket
The following stitches are used:
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • single crochet stitches
  • half double crochet stitches
  • double crochet stitches
  • treble crochet stitches
  • front post treble crochet stitches
(The post double crochets are explained in the pattern.)

At summer beer or wine festivals, Barbie loves to wear a dirndl!

You can’t buy a dirndl like this anywhere! Crochet it in the traditional colors of black, red, and green—or in your favorite colors. All you need is a little leftover thin cotton yarn (approx. 163 m / 50 g).

The sleeves of the blouse are crocheted on, making it easier to put on the dirndl.
The pattern also includes instructions for the accessories: a traditional hat, a bag, a necklace, and a gingerbread heart.

You can download the pattern here!

Think about Christmas as early as summer!
If you want to have a beautiful nativity scene with self-crocheted figures at Christmas, then maybe you should start in the summer.
In this pattern set, you get the crochet pattern for the Three Wise Men and their animals: an elephant, a horse, and a camel. To crochet everything, leftover yarn is enough—the kind you’re sure to have in your stash basket. Let your creativity run free.

There are two more patterns for nativity figures in my shop.

The Arctica soul warmer is a great companion all year round.
All you need is 200g of Turin or similar yarn (approx. 420m per 100g).

The pattern is explained in detail and also illustrated with a chart. Since it’s knitted sideways, the size can easily be adjusted individually.

Socks are always a hit. These ones are special because the Mowi heel is incredibly easy to knit, even for beginners with some knitting experience—as the reviews clearly show.

The pattern explains 4 different size examples, so you can provide the whole family with socks.

This cute little strappy dress with knitted-in hearts grows with your child, so it fits both babies and toddlers up to age 3.

It’s very easy to knit—no seams required—and is also suitable for beginners (with some knitting experience).

Fall is coming faster than you think. And then your baby will need a warm jacket and a hat. Here you’ll find a design with a pretty pattern of knit and purl stitches. It fits from 3–12 months and was knitted with sock yarn.

Suitable for experienced knitters.

Note: There is also a matching pattern for pants in my shop.

Even if it may not seem believable yet, it's time to start thinking about fall crafts.

If you’re planning to take part in the St. Martin’s parade with two children and would like to make the lanterns yourself, then these two lanterns in a set are just right, because they complement each other—the leaves that are cut out for one lantern are glued onto the other, saving time and work.

The lanterns, approx. 21 cm ø and approx. 27 cm ø, are made from photo cardstock and translucent paper. They are not difficult to make, but you should already have a little crafting experience.

Balloon Cover Crochet Pattern

Individual granny motifs are crocheted and then sewn together into a ball. A hidden opening is worked in so the balloon can be replaced easily and conveniently.

It can also be made in bright colors using lots of yarn scraps.

How about a new hat?

With this pattern, the hat can be made in head circumferences from 30–33 cm up to 55 cm. The pattern is explained in detail with pictures.

You should have some experience with a set of double-pointed needles and know knit and purl stitches.

With this original card, which folds out into a baby cradle, you have a wonderful way to stylishly present a cash gift.

When folded, the card measures approximately 19.5 x 10.5 cm and is made of cardstock and patterned craft paper. Even beginners can easily recreate it.

Are you looking for a gift package that is quick and easy to make? You can easily make this gift bag even if you’re short on time and not particularly crafty.

The gift bag is made of cardstock and measures approximately 19 x 25 x 8 cm. The flowers can be shaped slightly three-dimensionally, but they don’t have to be – they also look pretty when glued on flat.
