Mermaid Marina doesn’t mind the heat, because she usually stays in the cool ocean water.
Would you like to give Marina a home? She feels especially happy together with fish, shells, and plants.
Marina measures about 40 cm when stretched out. To crochet her, you will need:
  • 1 skein Rico Baby classic (yardage 165 m/50g) skin color (color 038)
  • 1 skein each Rico Baby Glitz (yardage 165 m/50g) mint and aqua (colors 004 and 001)
  • 1 skein mohair yarn in blue (aerea by Junghans Wolle) for the hair
  • leftovers: thin cotton yarn (Catania fine) in white, light pink, pink, bright pink,
  • leftover glitter yarn (Gründl) silver gray
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 2.0 mm crochet hook
  • polyester fiberfill for stuffing
  • 1 thick sewing needle for weaving in ends and sewing the pieces together
  • 1 sharp embroidery needle for embroidering the face
  • embroidery floss in black, pink
  • 2 pieces of chenille wire (pipe cleaners), each about 35 cm
Of course, you can also use any other yarn. However, the size may change.
This way to the crochet pattern!

Summer is finally here! It’s a wonderful time to run around outside!
Violetta the unicorn is perfect for cuddling and playing—and she’s great for indoor games, too. Crocheted from soft, cuddly yarn and featuring big, sparkly eyes, she’s simply irresistible! The soft pool noodle used as the stick prevents furniture or other objects from getting damaged during wild play and reduces the risk of injury.

To crochet Violetta, you’ll need:
  • 100 g of white plush yarn (Phil douce by Phildar, LL 86 m / 50 g)
  • 50 g cotton yarn (filet yarn), size 10, in white, as a carried-along yarn
  • 150 g of cotton yarn in purple (approx. 125 m per 50 g, e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr)
  • 50 g of light gray cotton yarn (approx. 125 m per 50 g, e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • Crochet hook 3.0 mm
  • 1 pair of safety eyes in purple, diameter approx. 3 cm
  • 1 pair of false eyelashes
  • Stuffing, approx. 300 g
  • 1 purple pool noodle
  • Glue suitable for Styrofoam

Bears are always on trend—for kids and adults alike. :)

These two here—the owl and the little bear—have a great job. They hang on the room door as guardians. This is especially popular with children.

Both are very easy to crochet, even for beginners who have crocheted before. Every step is explained in detail in the pattern.

Unicorns are still all the rage and a dream for many little girls—and even some big ones :)

Here you can get three different versions :
First, the crinkle cloth and rattle in a value set pack—the crinkle cloth is also available separately—and to go with it, the large unicorn , which can be crocheted as a music box or simply as a cuddly toy .

All three together make a great gift for a new baby for unicorn fans (or those who want to become fans).

For the different pieces, I used a cotton yarn with a length of 125m/50g and crocheted with a size 3 crochet hook . Of course, there are no limits to your imagination when it comes to color combinations, so this trio is also perfect for using up leftover yarn .

And now—have fun crocheting!

Do you like owls? Then you’ll love this one! It’s very decorative, but it can also be played with—when you pull the string, not only do the wings lift: they and the tail also open up like a fan—just like a real owl!

The jumping-jack owl is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 22.5 x 27.5 cm. The layers of photo cardstock glued on top of each other as part of the pattern make it very sturdy. To make the owl, you don’t need any special prior knowledge, just a little patience and some crafting experience.

Especially now in summer, you see more and more flamingo decorations again. You can crochet this one in no time using just a small amount of leftover yarn. It makes a wonderful decorative piece for your desk or flower stand.
You’ll need:
  • Leftover cotton yarn (approx. 125 m/50 g, e.g. Catania by Schachenmayr or Camilla by Woll Butt) in pink, gray, white, and
    black
  • Pink fluffy yarn (Lenja Baby Smiles by Schachenmayr)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 1 pair of animal eyes; diameter 5–6 mm (for sewing on, gluing on, or safety eyes)
  • Polyester stuffing
  • 1 thick sewing needle for sewing and joining the pieces together
  • Chenille wire
  • Floral wire
  • Glue
  • 1 round disc (cork, cardboard, or similar), 10 cm in diameter
You can find the detailed pattern here!
