Hardworking little helpers: Is the heat keeping you from your projects?

dear crafters,
are you crafting despite the heat, or are you waiting for the cooler evening hours?
Let me know.

Unfortunately, I can only do crafts in the evenings right now, since my job has me completely tied up.

But today it’s even too warm for me to knit. I’m sitting in the living room—it’s cooler there. Later I’ll go outside to water the plants, but then I’ll definitely knit a few more rows. 

I had a “hot” drive home today—we don’t have air conditioning in our almost-vintage RV. I actually crocheted during the drive and got quite a bit done.

I’m taking a break because of the heat. I just can’t bring myself to touch any kind of yarn right now. Luckily, it’s a bit cooler and overcast this morning. I’m only doing the bare minimum—and at a snail’s pace :)

The weather doesn’t stop me from knitting. I just switch to lace or cotton—that works just fine in the summer, too.

I was good yesterday and knitted a sock during our knitting circle in the afternoon. It was pleasantly cool in the yarn shop, but outside it was impossible because of the heat.

I’m on vacation right now and have been crocheting away. At least a little bit every day :)
Out on the patio under the umbrella or inside with the shutters lowered. It works just fine :) 

I can usually only handle this heat by lying down in a darkened room—my circulation goes completely haywire. Knitting isn’t really an option for me right now, and I’m not feeling drawn to the sewing machine either.

Today, for the first time, I didn’t knit on the train ride home—everything was sticky in the heat. After dinner, I crocheted a few rows out on the patio and enjoyed the lovely evening, to the accompaniment of a blackbird.
