To make working at your desk more fun, it shouldn’t look too dreary. Colorful desk accessories are the solution! You can craft this pencil holder in your favorite color to keep your spirits up at work.

The pencil holder is made of cardstock, about 11 cm wide and 8 cm high. It’s easy to make and well suited even for confident beginners. Tip: The holder can also be used as a container for small office items such as paper clips, thumbtacks, erasers, and similar things.

Hedgehogs roam around our garden at night!
If you'd like some little, prickly companions of your own, this pattern is just right for you! The best part is: they bring their home with them! The leaf pile has room for two residents—here they can make themselves really cozy during the day and roam around at night....
The crochet pattern is described in detail and illustrated, beginner-friendly, and suitable for using lots of yarn from your stash.

We’re still enjoying summery temperatures, but—as always—winter comes much too quickly. Start now and crochet yourself a little reindeer (or two or three...)!
For this you’ll need cotton yarn and leftover sock yarn. Of course, the reindeer can also be crocheted with other yarns.
Everything is described in detail and illustrated, so you can crochet along in a totally relaxed way!

Here’s the pattern and all the details

If your supply of gift wrap is running low, you can start restocking it this weekend, for example with this elegant bag here: The bag is modeled on a ladies’ handbag and is therefore especially suitable for gifts for women.

I made this bag from photo cardstock; with the handles, it measures approx. 22 x 28 x 7.5 cm. It’s easy to make and is also well suited to beginners with a little crafting experience.

Knitting pattern for a summery hat with a beautiful lace pattern.

The hat comes in 3 sizes (0–24 months), and the pointed tips are a real eye-catcher.

You’ll need practice with a set of double-pointed needles, as well as knowledge of knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, and knitting stitches together.

These crocheted vases or lanterns make a small, quick weekend project.

Cotton yarns such as Catania, for example, are suitable.

Basic knowledge of single crochet, double crochet, and chain stitches should be present.

Today I’d be in the mood for something small ... e.g. a few candle jars made from cotton yarn. You can always crochet these from a few grams of yarn. And you’re sure to find an empty jam jar in your household, too. You can place them on the garden table in summer or outside in winter. With a small tealight, they create a lovely atmosphere.

Here is the free pattern. I hope you enjoy it.

Best regards, Ina

And if you don’t crochet the little candle jar cover all the way to the end, but stop earlier, you’ll still have a bowl for small items. That’s not always something you can use either.

Here’s another lovely, simple project for a relaxing Sunday spent doing a little crafting: stuffed heart pendants.

We crochet them using just a few grams of cotton yarn and stuff them with stuffing. You can make a stash of them in your favorite colors. Then use them to decorate your home, the kids’ room, or the garden—or give them as gifts to someone special. I also like to spritz them with my favorite perfume and use them as scented sachets in my closet. A little kitsch is good for the soul :-)

I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy your crafting—Yours, Ina

Or maybe on this beautiful Sunday, you’d rather knit than crochet. And if you have a little daughter or granddaughter… she’s sure to be thrilled with new outfits for her dolls. How about this pretty ball gown ?

You can knit it in a single color or in multiple colors. All in white, it would also make a lovely wedding dress. The pattern is also suitable for beginner knitters, if they can knit with a set of double-pointed needles or would like to learn. I explain and demonstrate everything in detail, step by step.

I hope you enjoy this lovely project—Ina
