Well, probably—I live up north, after all. So, have a wonderful holiday, everyone else :-)

I live in the north too and don’t have a public holiday; there are actually a few more public holidays in the south, which is really unfair. Still, have a lovely public holiday in the south.

Thank you. I’m glad to have a rainy public holiday. I wouldn’t have one back home either. I’m from Saxony and now live in Baden-Württemberg

For anyone who thinks the holiday is only in the south and that we’re having a nice time because of it—not a chance. My husband has to work, so the holiday is a bust for us too. He got home from his night shift at 6:30 this morning and has to be back at it tonight at 10 p.m.; in between, it’s time to sleep.
I used the time to sew the two larger clutches from Schnabelina’s pattern; I’m currently working through my fabric scraps, but the pile just isn’t getting any smaller—no, no, no :-)

It’s a holiday here in Hesse.

I wouldn’t have even noticed, though, if I hadn’t happened to read about it yesterday.

For me, it’s just a day like any other.

We’re currently on vacation in Austria, and it’s a holiday here, too. We hadn’t even realized it was a holiday.

We just took the Zwölfhornbahn. Anton was absolutely thrilled :-)))

Oh, Anton has gotten sooo big already!
