Knitted baby booties combined with crocheted post double crochet.

This pattern involves both knitting and crocheting.

Experience with a set of double-pointed needles is required. Depending on the yarn’s yardage and needle size, these booties will have a sole length of 9–10.5 cm.

Who thinks about cooler days and warm slippers in this kind of summer weather? Smart people do—they plan ahead. They’re already knitting and felting adorable slippers for fall, winter, and Christmas in their children’s and grandchildren’s favorite colors. Now is the time for it, and you can take it easy. In addition to the patterns for felt slippers, there are also matching leather soles that you can make yourself. With leather soles, a felt slipper lasts four times longer than without them. Homemade leather soles — I’ll show you exactly how it’s done, with a template for all sizes

You can crochet this cute little lamb in various sizes depending on the yarn you use. Only single crochet stitches are used. If you use thicker yarn, it will be big enough to fit a music box inside its belly. For example, the larger lamb in the picture (approx. 25 cm tall) was crocheted with 1 skein of Phil douce by Phildar, and the smaller one (approx. 12 cm tall) with Estivo II by Lana Grossa. The best way to achieve the plush effect is to use plush yarn (the pattern also includes plenty of tips on this), but you can also brush up fluffy yarn vigorously at the end.

Mermaids are still popular!

Barbie and other dress-up dolls can be transformed into enchanting mermaids with this quick and easy-to-crochet fishtail. All you need are a few scraps of thin cotton yarn and a crochet hook. If you want to make the fishtail especially gorgeous, you can use a glitter thread as a carry-along yarn or sew on a few beads or sequins at the end.
The pattern explains each step in detail, so even beginners shouldn’t have any trouble following it. You’ll also find instructions for the top and headpiece in the pattern.
