School will be starting soon, and to go with it there is a crochet pattern for a small school cone that is still big enough to wrap small gifts, candy, or money for little school starters.

For the school cone, I used a leftover (approx. 80 g) from a bobble (yardage 200 m/50 g), crocheted with a size 3 crochet hook, and the finished school cone is 25 cm tall overall—the fillable cone is approx. 15 cm high and has a diameter of 12 cm. You can also use other leftover yarn—for more detailed information, see the pattern description.

   Here’s the pattern

And now have fun crocheting!

This breezy tunic for girls can be crocheted up quickly before summer really kicks into high gear. If your crocheting plans have you thinking ahead to late summer or fall, simply crochet longer sleeves. This pattern in sizes 98 and 116 (also adaptable for other children’s sizes) shows you exactly how to crochet the short-sleeve or 7/8-sleeve version.

Here you’ll find more information, additional photos, and the pattern.

Have fun, and best regards!

Cherry blossoms, lush yet delicate, are a symbol of spring—and thus of new beginnings. Seeing the first cherry tree in bloom this year fills you with hope and anticipation. Anticipation for bright days and evenings, for the first ice cream of the year, for good cheer, and for a friendly smile—even from complete strangers who, just like you, are simply looking forward to spring.

Do you fall in love with the blooming cherry trees all over again every year? Then this enchanting bonsai tree made of delicately glittering beads is the perfect project for you. Because this cherry tree symbolizes new beginnings, hope, and joy in your home all year round. By the way, the bonsai tree as a central focal point and individual branches as table decorations or napkin rings also make for a beautiful and symbolic table decoration—not just for weddings.

What you should know and what you’ll get:
Never worked with beads and wire before? That’s okay. Give it a try—the many detailed and thoroughly described step-by-step photos in the PDF pattern make it easy for you to recreate this project.

Merlin the Wizard has moved into my shop! He’s an ambivalent character: Sometimes he’s the good sage who helps Kasperl with his magic; other times, he’s the evil wizard who throws as many obstacles in Kasperl’s path as possible.

He’s very old and has a long white beard and long, equally white hair. He’s draped in a magnificent dark blue robe with silver glitter threads. His wizard’s hat is the same color.

Merlin isn’t hard to crochet. You can find more details on the materials needed and the pattern HERE!

These cute pencil toppers are sure to delight all preschool and school-age children! They fit perfectly into a school cone, and you can also give them out as little “thank-you” gifts at children’s birthday parties.
You can quickly crochet them from a few pieces of leftover yarn whenever you have a spare moment—especially when it’s too hot for a big project but you still want to keep your fingers busy.
The crochet pattern is available here!
