Dear readers,
you won’t really get into the Christmas spirit until you have a reindeer—with or without a red nose—a Santa Claus, perhaps with Mrs. Claus or even elves and goblins, the Christ Child, a snowman or snowwoman, St. Nicholas, a sleigh, and some little decorative gifts. You’ll see—as soon as these cute, indispensable decorative figures are finished, you’ll be singing one Christmas carol after another—and not just muttering them quietly under your breath, but singing them loud enough that everyone around you will be swept up in your good cheer and Christmas spirit. Nothing is as contagious as a smile.
Cultivate that smile and good mood—one that won’t fade even in the midst of the heaviest Christmas stress.
Just get started.

@Authors
Please post two patterns each here in this thread—ones that lift your spirits and fit the theme.
Include a link, four lines of text, an image, and all the important details.

This sweet Santa fits through any chimney and into any stocking. Most of all, though, he likes to sit decoratively somewhere and watch the hustle and bustle of the winter festivities.

Easy and quick to crochet, and an eye-catcher on any shelf. Also great as a little gift to bring when visiting during the Christmas holidays, or just because. :)

Here’s the pattern:

Have fun making it! :)

Paulchen is a sweet and adorable reindeer. When he gets too cold, he wraps his cozy red scarf around his neck.
Paulchen is perfect as a gift, for cuddling, and also as decoration.
If you crochet Paulchen with Bravo yarn from Schachenmayr, he will be an impressive 39 cm tall.

Here is the pattern:

I hope you have lots of fun crocheting him!

Stella the Snowwoman makes all the snowmen melt :)
She loves to cuddle with her plush pillow and is perfect as a gift for snuggling or as a decoration.
If you crochet Stella using Elisa’s Easy yarn, she’ll be 25 cm tall

This wonderful duo of Snowman Willy and Reindeer Erwin is a perfect combination for Christmas decor.

Erwin, with his funny eyes, is just simply cuddly.
And Snowman Willy was made and placed on a base so that he also stands upright.

Both patterns are currently available as a set, which saves you approx. 25%.
What are you waiting for?

And here is the pattern

Of course, the patterns are also available individually.

I hope you have lots of fun with your Christmas preparations. And very little stress!

From out of the forest I come........
This Santa Claus with a Christmas tree is a cheerful little fellow.  All you need is cotton yarn, a crochet hook, stuffing, and wooden beads.
With potholder yarn, St. Nicholas will be approx. 20 cm tall. You can also crochet him with finer yarn (e.g. Catania), in which case he will be correspondingly smaller.

You can’t have Santa without a moose. To crochet Emil, you’ll need cotton yarn, stuffing, a crochet hook, and safety glass eyes. Of course, you can also embroider or crochet the eyes; they look just as cute.

Behind the icy, towering snow-capped mountains in the distance and the fluffy white cloudstorms of nowhere lies a small, tranquil village in a small, tranquil valley. There, the Fröstchen live carefree and happy, taking each day as it comes. But not everything is always as carefree as it seems. Here you can get to know the Fröstchen and, hopefully, learn to love them just as much as we do! There are all kinds of them, just like us humans! Business Fröstchen, Baker Fröstchen, even Wizard Fröstchen! Well, admittedly, not quite like us humans.
But there’s even more to discover! Over a cup of hot chocolate, they’ll surely tell you their whole story.
So come take a look!

The little Frosties have now had children :)
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/9403/die-eisleins-kommenBehind the icy high snow mountains far away and the woolly white cloud storms of nowhere, in a small, peaceful valley, lies a small, peaceful village. There, the little Frosties live carefree and happy from day to day. But not everything is always as carefree as it may seem. Today is not carefree at all for the little Frosties, because their little children have disappeared! The little Icicles were only playing outside in the snow flurries around the village, as they so often do. It’s a great place to hide and perfect for sledding! But in the evening, none of the little Icicles came home. Oh no.
Come quickly and help search! Here’s the latest missing poster!

Santa Claus’s first helpers are already on their way; in the wall unit, on the windowsill, on the shelf—everywhere the little helpers are sitting with their gift sacks, waiting until they can finally get started packing gifts and putting them in the right places. I hope you have lots of fun with my Christmas elf.

Snowflake the snowman with his cheeky look. The special feature is the icicles hanging from his hat.

At a proud 20 cm tall, he makes a great decoration for the Christmas season.

@all authors
since tomorrow is St. Nicholas Day, please add more patterns here if you don’t yet have two in the thread.
Nice little things that you can still quickly make last minute as a St. Nicholas gift would be good, as well as anything that can be used as Christmas decor. There are more threads with pattern highlights in the recommendations subforum that can still be added to.

Here comes my Minion Mrs. Claus. Anyone who likes the Minions will also like this Minion Mrs. Claus. You can definitely make a lovely Christmas gift for children with it. And if you’d like the Minion lady for the whole year, simply crochet the little skirt in a different color and put a different hat on her, or none at all. My son is 8 and he loves her just the way she is.
That alone was worth the effort.

Wishing everyone a lovely St. Nicholas Day and a wonderful second Sunday of Advent. Enjoy it with your family.

And here is the pattern
