Weekend Plans: Have a great weekend :-)

the week is over. Time to relax.
What are your plans?

Oh, my weekend might end up being very expensive :-)))) Tomorrow I'm going to Cham with my daughter for a warehouse sale at our sewing machine dealer; we both want to buy ourselves a coverstitch machine. I'm already looking forward to it, and it will certainly be a tiring but lovely day. My son-in-law and grandchild are coming along too; in any case, it will be a great family outing.

Today I’m planning to visit a garden exhibition with a friend. I still have a small spot in the garden for 1 or 2 plants. Then we’ll enjoy having coffee together. Hoping for nicer, or at least dry, weather. 

and tomorrow is Mother’s Day...… The house will be full, everyone is coming home to Mom...……..

It’s going to be a great weekend

Nothing special is planned for today—a little shopping, a little housework, doing laundry, a bit of needlework, and looooots of relaxing.

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day—though my son and I don’t really celebrate it, since I personally don’t place much importance on it. I believe that I’m a mother every day, not just once a year, and my son should keep that in mind every day, not just once a year—and he does, by bringing me flowers now and then or helping out around the house. But I’m going to my parents’ house tomorrow, where Mother’s Day will be celebrated in a big way for my mom—she really likes that, and that’s a good thing, so she’ll be celebrated tomorrow, just out of old tradition.

My weekend will be quiet. I have a pretty bad cold and will try to relax as much as I can. So far, the weather looks pretty good.

Well, the weekend is almost over already...

So far, I’ve had a great weekend.
Right now, I’m just waiting for my tax software to finish its update so I can finally file my 2018 tax return... Man, that’s such fun... :P

I took advantage of the April weather and finally finished knitting a long-unfinished project—the little jacket for my doll. Today, I’m consciously taking time for what I enjoy—without any visitors.

We’ve never celebrated Mother’s Day, because I feel the same way as Sofi. My son and the family are all eagerly awaiting their second grandchild. So traveling isn’t an option anyway.
