Dear users, dear authors,
how are you?
What are you up to?
How’s the weather?
What’s for breakfast / lunch / dinner?
Do you have weekly plans and craft goals?
Tell me all about it.

I’m doing very well, even though the weather is more typical for April. The only downside—which I can handle, though—is

that I’m so busy at work that I barely have time to knit. But things will get back to normal. :-)

I’m doing wonderfully.
I already baked a rhubarb cake and an apple cake this morning—one of them will be given away.
For lunch today, we’re having meat rolls, pasta, and salad.
At least the weather is dry, and the sun is shining now and then.

I’m going to keep crocheting my pot holders and eventually get back to my UFO top.

Lunch is simmering away right now: I’m having macaroni with Indian-spiced tofu (store-bought) and a sauce made from soy flour, vegetable broth, hot mustard, and wakame.

My crocheted bag just needs a drawstring.
So I should be able to finish it today.

Hi, everyone.
I had a really nice weekend. On Friday, I met up with two friends, and on Saturday we went shopping successfully and then had dinner with Anton in the evening.
He’s never been this sweet before. So calm, looking at his book, chatting with the waiter, and nibbling on bread first, then potatoes and vegetables.
It was simply lovely and relaxed.
Now I’m at work and just had pizza during my break.

This morning, I got a deliberate goodbye kiss for the first time.... That was so sweet. A little wet, but great. :-)

Oooh Wollefaden, is there any left? I’d love to eat roulades right now too! ;D

For breakfast and lunch, I had the usual weekday food: sandwiches.
Tonight we’re having baked gnocchi.

The weekend was very relaxing.
I don’t have any weekly plans yet—we’ll see if I get around to crocheting again :)

Tina
I actually had two left over.
Whenever I make this, I always make extra and then freeze them.

We had Greek food today—my husband wanted calamari, tzatziki, and fries again, along with a Greek salad, though without olives, since neither of us really likes them.
The weekend was super relaxing—I did a little knitting. I’ll be really glad when the bear is finished; then I’ll have to take a forced break—the osteoarthritis in both my hands is taking its toll. I’m spending a lot of time on my embroidery machine right now anyway, so I’ve got plenty to keep me busy.

So, it’s done—the knitted teddy bear is finally finished. It’s the last one for now, because my hands aren’t cooperating again—this has happened before, but after a year-long break, I was able to get back to it.

Things are going so-so for me. I managed to upload my pattern for the poncho sweater (I’m wearing it right now—it’s super comfortable) and I’m currently doing my housework. My back has been hurting terribly for the past two days, so I’m going to take a painkiller right after breakfast—I really don’t need this for work tonight. Last night I started knitting with mohair yarn; I don’t know yet what it’ll turn into—I’m just knitting a loose drop-stitch pattern straight across and will let myself be surprised by the result. Since I only have two skeins of 85 meters each, it certainly won’t be anything big. I don’t need to cook today—there’s still plenty of tortellini salad left over from yesterday, and I’ll have grilled sausages (pan-fried) with it. The weather here is totally crazy. It’s cold and wet with occasional hail, and then suddenly the sun is shining brightly in the sky....

Unfortunately, things aren’t going so well right now—I’ve come down with shingles, and that lousy weekend emergency clinic didn’t recognize it, so I didn’t get my medication until yesterday. I hope the pain goes away soon.

Oh no, I hope you feel better soon. Shingles is very painful, I know that... All the best!

AnLis, that knitted teddy bear is super cute! It reminds me a little of a green plush gummy bear—so cute you could just eat it!
