Here’s the pattern!
The weather’s supposed to be a bit dreary this weekend—perfect for crafting!
You might as well start thinking about Mother’s Day:

Mom is sure to love this pretty little beaded pouch. She can use it to store jewelry, loose change, or small makeup items. The pouch measures about 12 x 8 cm. Of course, it can also be made in other colors. The pattern includes a crochet chart for the shell pattern, but it’s also described row by row in written form. I sewed the beads on at the very end. This way, you can also use very small beads where the cotton thread wouldn’t fit through the hole.

For the pouch shown here, I used the following materials:

  • 15 g Catania Fine cotton yarn, color cream (165 m / 50 g)
  • 2.0 mm crochet hook
  • 24 silver beads, approx. 5 mm in diameter
  • 1 bag clasp, 8 x 4 cm
  • white sewing thread
  • 1 yarn needle for weaving in
  • 1 sewing needle
You can find the pattern here!

Take some time this weekend and think of your beloved four-legged friends—they like handmade crocheted items, too.

All 3 models are crocheted using only single crochet stitches; you’ll find exact material details in the respective patterns—just click on the corresponding image.

How about crocheting a new bag this weekend?

Miriam is crocheted and felted in the washing machine.

It's very easy and described in the pattern.

You can easily finish the bag in one weekend, because it is made with felting wool and a size 12 crochet hook — it really works up quickly.

The pattern is suitable for beginners.
You'll find detailed information about the required skills and materials in the product description.

A lovely project for a relaxing weekend is Granny

This is Granny Number 6 from a whole series. All the Grannies are the same size, so you can combine them, for example, into a blanket in bright mixed colors or in a single color.

Basic knowledge of single crochet, double crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches is required.

Would you like to see more pictures of the Grannies? Then take a look at the collection I created.

A simple pattern with a WOW effect promises a relaxing weekend

Knitting pattern for a blanket. Knitted using only knit and purl stitches, this creates the cable look.

Yarn needed for a small blanket of approx. 80–90 cm with a yardage of 120–160 m is approx. 400 grams. The blanket size can easily be adjusted based on a gauge.

With just a few grams of leftover yarn, you can crochet charming little summer dresses for your daughter’s or granddaughter’s dolls. They’re easy to make and always go down well. For more photos, information, and the pattern esimply click here.

These doll clothes are also crocheted from leftovers: trousers, tops, dresses - all lovely patterns for crochet beginners. Here too, it doesn’t take much work, and you’ll be rewarded with beautiful, colourful doll clothes. Click here for more photos, information, and the pattern.

And my third recommendation for a lovely leftover-yarn project, which is also ideal as a weekend craft, is a crocheted heart-shaped pillow. It is crocheted from many individual hexagons, which are joined together at the end. It is filled with synthetic stuffing, so it can go completely into the washing machine when needed. It is especially fun to combine the different colours in new ways again and again. And in the end, you get a truly wonderful and unique pillow like no other. For more photos and the pattern please click here.

I hope you enjoy the project of your choice and have a lovely weekend - Yours, Ina

Cute little chip ladybugs

Are you constantly looking for your shopping cart token or your euro coin?
Then these little ladybugs are just the thing for you. Not only do they look cute, they also give your shopping cart token a secure place on your keychain.

The pattern is illustrated and suitable even for beginners with basic skills.
You’ll need:
10 g cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, cotton scraps for the dots, or buttons, or Sock Stop, decorative spike studs, 8 mm diameter
Crochet hook 2.5 mm (this makes the little ladybug nice and sturdy), sewing needle, key ring
You can also use other yarn than specified in the pattern; this only changes the size of the beetle (thick yarn = larger, thin yarn = smaller)
You should know how to do:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches
The little ladybug can be used as a token holder on a keychain, an appliqué on bags/trousers, a gift tag, a flower hanger, etc. Or you can crochet the body twice and decorate it on both sides if it is not meant to be used as a token holder.

View the pattern

This crochet pattern is ideal for using up leftover yarn. Just be warned: as soon as you've finished crocheting the water balloons, they'll already be gone.

You'll need:
Approx. 20 g of acrylic yarn per water balloon, 133 m/50 g
Size 6 crochet hook
Scissors and a needle for weaving in ends

You should be able to do:
Magic ring, or alternatively ch 2 and work the foundation round into the first chain stitch
Double crochet, increases, decreases

Have fun at your next water fight.
