have a great weekend.
What are you up to?

I’m going to (hopefully) finish the train car, keep working on my triangular shawl, visit some Easter markets, and then, of course, tidy up, go shopping, do laundry… whatever else needs to be done.
Hopefully we’ll have nice weather—it’s supposed to get warm, after all.

I’ll be working again on Saturday, but on Sunday I’ll have time to visit a flea market. And, of course, do a little knitting. If the weather stays like this, I’ll definitely be knitting on the balcony for the first time this year… hurray!

Today and tomorrow, it’s all about gardening—there’s plenty to do. Tomorrow morning, I’ll quickly do the weekly grocery shopping with my son (my husband has to work), and then it’s back to the garden. In the evening, we’ll probably all go out to eat together, and on Sunday, gardening and ??? Hopefully, I’ll still find some time to knit somewhere in between.

We’ve been in Berlin since yesterday. Anton is staying with my parents, and we’re enjoying some quality time together—going out to eat, shopping, and taking in a little culture. :-) Tomorrow we’re heading back home, and I’ll be so happy to hold Anton in my arms again.

But he’s having a great time with my parents, too. Grandma and Grandpa are way cooler than Mom and Dad, after all.

I’m going to take advantage of the beautiful spring weather and spruce up the garden. There’s quite a bit to do. Plus, of course, I’ll keep knitting on my new project—a baby cardigan. 

I cleaned the winter grime off my balcony today, and since a Japanese cherry tree is blooming right in front of it at the moment, I got my camera ready and waited. The tree is currently a paradise for everything that buzzes and hums.

After we put on our dance group festival yesterday in Otterndorf with about 300 female dancers and one male dancer (ours... grin), and our walker dance was very well received, we’re heading to Drochtersen today. It’s dance competition weekend there. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it yesterday, but today we’ll be watching as the Latin formations whirl across the dance floor.
Starting tomorrow, things will calm down a bit again, and I’ll be able to get back to crocheting.
