The knitted sweater in a Native American design with fringe and beads is for advanced knitters. The pattern is worked in the Norwegian style. It’s a varied project, with regular “rest periods” in between where you knit plain stockinette stitch in a solid color.
Materials:

• 400 g curry-colored cotton (Mayflower Junior Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g)
• 100 g olive-colored cotton (Mayflower Rainbow Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g
• 50 g red cotton (Mayflower Cotton 8, 170 m per 50 g)
• 50 g turquoise cotton (Mayflower Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g)
• 50 g dark blue cotton (Mayflower Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g)
• 2.5 mm knitting needles
• 3.5 mm knitting needles
• Colorful beads with holes that aren’t too small (2–4 strands of yarn should fit through them)

Why is this heart-shaped pillow exciting? Because no one else can have one exactly like it. Just by choosing and combining the colors, you decide for yourself what your pillow will look like.

First we crochet 18 hexagons and 3 half hexagons. Then we crochet everything together into a heart-shaped pillow and stuff it with synthetic stuffing. This means you can put the whole thing in the washing machine if needed.

Crocheting, combining colors, and joining everything together is a lot of fun, and in the end you have a wonderful, unique, lovingly crocheted pillow unlike any other. It makes a wonderful gift for someone special :-)

The amount of material needed depends on the hook size, yarn weight, and whether you crochet tighter or looser.
It can vary considerably with a smaller hook size (2.5, 3, 3.5) and 3-ply yarn. During test crocheting, in some cases 100 m to 200 m less was used!
