The Scrap Eaters are a very creative design, because here you can crochet up lots of colorful leftovers. And the faces can be designed however you like. Your children or grandchildren will surely be happy to help you with that.

The possible uses are also extremely creative, so the Scrap Eaters have lots of potential.

Best of all: They are a great beginner project. However, you should have some crochet skills.

This little tissue pouch is quick to crochet, and there are lots of creative design possibilities for it. The pattern folder contains two different versions.

You’re sure to enjoy making it, and so will the people you give it to.

These cute door guards can be used in very creative ways. Children absolutely love them, because at last unwanted guests are politely asked to stay outside.

The door guards—the bear and the owl—are incorruptible when put on duty by the room’s occupant.

When crocheting, you can let your creativity run free here, both in the color design and in the little details. Since Easter is coming soon, how about putting a guard owl or a guard bear in the nest this time? Your children will cheer!

Easy for beginners with crochet experience to make.

Note: Both guards are also available individually as patterns in my shop.

When crocheting finger puppets, you can let your creativity run wild in many ways while using up a lot of small, colorful scraps of yarn.
Here’s a suggestion for a mini puppet theater:

In a value pack (20% savings) , you’ll get patterns for 10 different finger puppets: (from left to right: Princess, Witch, Seppel, Policeman, Robber, Kasperle, Gretel, Grandmother, King, Crocodile). By varying their clothing and hairstyles, you can create even more characters. All the little puppets can be crocheted from leftover yarn.

And once they’re finished, the creativity doesn’t stop there—now it’s time to put your storytelling skills to the test! You can come up with new plays all the time. And if a character is missing, you can quickly crochet one according to your own ideas. Since the finger puppets are so small, you can take them anywhere and put them to use right away. That way, a rainy afternoon turns into a fantastic day of theater!

By the way: there are many more finger puppet patterns available in my shop. Take a look here!

You can get just as creative if you crochet your own nativity figures. You can also use up lots of colorful leftover yarn for them.
You might be thinking: "Christmas is still so far away; it was just here."

But there are several reasons why you should start crocheting right now:

If you want a nativity scene with lots of different figures, you'll need some time for it and definitely won't want to crochet them all at once. This way, though, you can crochet one figure or another every now and then at a relaxed pace throughout the year (yes, even under the beach umbrella!).

And the second reason: Right now, the patterns for all my nativity figures are reduced by 20%. So you'll save a lot!

Well, do you feel like getting started right away? Then go ahead and get going!

How about
the Holy Family, ox, donkey, and Christmas star?
Or
the Three Wise Men with their exotic animals?

With this crochet blanket, a lot can be changed just by choosing different colors. Instead of three colors—like I used—why not make a bright multicolored blanket with lots of colors?

You should have a basic understanding of single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches. The pattern is presented in detail both in written form and as a crochet chart.

You can really let your creativity run wild with this project. We crochet lots of colorful knitting spool cords using a crank knitting spool. These are then threaded through a crocheted grid in any order you like. Then crochet a border all the way around—and your one-of-a-kind children’s room rug is finished.

I explain and show you everything in great detail. Click here to go to the pattern.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project—Yours, Ina

The creative aspect of this project is that you can combine any yarns and colors of your choice for your basket. We crochet these threads together at the same time, creating ever-changing color combinations.

What makes this basket special is that it retains its shape particularly well thanks to a plastic clothesline worked into the inside. More than 3,400 customers have already made it and love it. And every basket looks different! You’re also flexible when it comes to size. Anything is possible.

I hope you have lots of fun with this creative project — Ina

A crocheted “Mensch-ärger-dich-nicht” game that you can roll up, crumple, and wash—surely no one else has one like this. Everyone will be amazed when you pull this out of your picnic basket. No stiff game board—just a bright, homemade one. Even sticky little hands won’t cause any lasting damage.

I hope you enjoy the crochet pattern.
Yours, Ina

P.S. There’s also a checkers game and a nine men’s morris game....

With these Easter eggs, you can really go wild with color, because while the motifs are fixed, which colors of transparent paper you use to cover the cutouts is completely up to you!

The Easter eggs are made from photo cardstock and transparent paper; the large ones are approx. 10 x 12.7 cm, the small ones approx. 7.3 x 9 cm, and they are all very easy to make.

With these colorful owls, your garden fence will become an eye-catcher.
These funny little animals are especially sure to put a smile on children’s faces, and at the same time your leftover yarn will shrink.

With this gift packaging, you can really let your creativity run wild! Not only does its exterior invite you to experiment with different color combinations, but it also leaves plenty of room for your imagination when packaging it.

The pyramid is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 18.5 x 13.5 x 18.5 cm. It’s easy to make and, thanks to the detailed instructions, is well suited even for beginners.
