Happy Weekend // with sunshine

Dear users, dear authors,
I hope you have a great weekend.
What are your plans?

I wish everyone here a wonderful weekend and plenty of time for handicrafts.

I’m going to be busy writing patterns now and knitting a hat for my doll’s Schlüttli.

Since the weather isn’t going to be that great, I’ll be making myself comfortable in the living room. I’m also planning to bake a delicious nut cake.

My crocheted hat is finished and waiting to be approved.

I’ve actually started on my tablecloth for the umpteenth time and hope that I’ll finally keep working on it this time.

Yesterday, a rainbow appeared briefly in the stormy sky (which is still stormy today):



@Moni: Nut cake sounds delicious. Our current favorite is marble cake.

I’m still working on my Tiuika, the never-ending project that I haven’t really felt like working on for quite a while now.
At least it’s steadily growing and thriving...

In between, I’m trying to shape small decorative elements out of modeling clay, which I’d then like to use to make molds for my next concrete project… but it’s all still too rough for my taste, so I’ll probably try again with Fimo… that allows for much finer details.

I’m also going to finish up a few owl eggs for my Easter gifts.

My sweetheart recently brewed some beer, which unfortunately didn’t carbonate—I’ll use part of it to make jelly and beer liqueur. I’m curious to see how it turns out...

Since the weather forecast here is rather gloomy, it’s probably going to be a creative weekend.
