A lovely project for a TV night is this large granny square crocheted into a blanket.

Once you get started, the pattern of double crochets and chain stitches repeats continuously.

It’s also ideal for using up leftover yarn of the same type. For example, I used one yarn with a length of 189 m / 50 grams and another with 200 m.

You can find the pattern here

This hat is also great to knit while watching TV. The pattern consists of knit and purl stitches and is easy to remember.  You’ll only need the pattern again when it’s time to decrease.

This hat is available in sizes ranging from 33 to 55 cm head circumference. Suitable yarns have a length of approximately 120 m and require needle sizes 3–3.5.

Here you’ll find the pattern for the hat

No increases, no decreases, no color changes—just crochet a rectangle: it really works wonderfully while watching TV. The only challenge: a new crochet technique: Tunisian crochet. But it’s very easy and is explained in detail in the pattern. The rectangle is then folded origami-style and sewn together. So this bag is ideal for practicing the Tunisian simple stitch.

For this, you’ll need cotton yarn (preferably with a color gradient) and a Tunisian crochet hook (4.0 mm) that should be at least 40 cm long. The regular crochet hook is only needed again for the decorative border and the handle.

I’m giving you my heart!
A heart-shaped heat pillow—isn’t that a lovely gift for Mother’s Day?

The heart measures about 20 x 20 cm. It’s crocheted with a bobble stitch on the front and single crochet on the back, so you can control how much heat it gives off. The bobble stitch is very simple and is explained in detail in the pattern. Since the increases and decreases are very regular, this is a great project to crochet while watching TV.

You’ll need about 100 g of pink potholder yarn (yardage approx. 65–85 m/50 g) and a 4.0 mm crochet hook.

You can find the material list for the filling and the pattern here!

You can easily knit the AENNY triangular shawl even while watching the most gripping crime thriller, because apart from the increases at the edge, you don’t have to pay attention to anything! You can knit this all-round talent with any yarn you like: gradient yarn, leftover yarn (all in the same weight), solid-colored yarn, variegated yarn... And even beginners can knit this shawl! You can also knit the shawl in the yarn and needle size you have on hand! So get to your yarn stash—this makes it easy to reduce your yarn supplies! The crochet edging creates a lovely finish and also hides any unevenness along the edges, and anyone who likes can add a romantic accent with the knitted rose, using the same yarn or a different one!

Here’s the download: AENNY triangular shawl

Wishing you relaxed knitting while watching an exciting crime thriller,
Annette

The MALIN shoulder warmer also offers relaxed TV knitting fun!
Knit and purl stitches alternate, and you simply keep going round and round. A stitch marker makes sure you don't lose track while knitting in the round! You can have wonderful fun with the long roll neck and "drape" it in all kinds of ways - I also really enjoy wearing this cozy little piece, even though I'm not a fan of turtleneck sweaters, but here the collar is wide enough that it doesn't feel restrictive at all!

Here is the direct download link: MALIN shoulder warmer

Wishing you cozy TV knitting hours,
Annette

The funny yarn scrap eaters are super easy to crochet while watching TV. They practically gobble up your leftover yarn, and you’ll have fun doing it.

You can use them for many purposes—from gift wrapping to fun table decorations.

Best to get started right away and spread some cheer.

Timeless Baby Blanket Made from Soft Merino Yarn

You will have a lot of fun with this knitting project: while knitting in a relaxed way, because it is such a beautiful simple pattern that still exudes an elegant chic. And while enjoying the soft yarn as you knit, because nothing is more pleasant and softer than merino wool. The finished baby blanket will always be something special because it is especially warm, cuddly soft, and breathable. And it can even be washed in the washing machine. That means it absolutely has what it takes to become a favorite baby blanket.

My 5-month-old grandson Oskar loves it most of all. Maybe also an idea for your child/grandchild or as a welcome gift for a birth ...

You can find more pictures, information, and the pattern by clicking on the heading.
I hope you have lots of fun knitting this beautiful blanket. Yours, Ina

Crochet Pattern for the Spirella Rug

Crochet enthusiasts shouldn’t get bored while watching TV either. We’ll be crocheting in the round using 3 strands of yarn. All you need is one maxi skein (400 g) and a size 6 crochet hook. The simple pattern practically works itself. When you’re done, you’ll have crocheted a beautiful rug with a diameter of about 75 cm. The back is lined with non-slip material so it won’t slide around. You’re sure to find a nice spot for it in your home.

You’ll find the pattern, including a crochet chart and additional information, by clicking on the headline.

I hope you enjoy a relaxing evening in front of the TV with this project. Yours, Ina

Knitting Pattern for the “Light as a Feather” Loop

This is also an ideal project for watching TV. We just knit in the round using only knit stitches. So you can watch a really exciting movie while working on this pattern, because it doesn’t require much attention. It’s all about perseverance.

What makes this loop special is that the cashmere yarn makes it incredibly light, airy, and wonderfully soft. I don’t know of any softer yarn. You hardly notice it when you’re wearing it, but you miss it when you take the loop off. It’s a real feel-good piece of clothing. I sometimes knit it as a gift for special people.

You’ll find more examples, information, and the pattern by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy this project as well — Ina

This fluffy, soft triangular shawl is wonderfully simple, understated, and beautiful.

The pattern is very easy to work and great fun. Since it is crocheted almost entirely under chain arches, it is perfect for crocheting alongside something else, for example while watching TV. The pattern explains everything in great detail, with step-by-step photos, text, and a crochet chart.

Very well suited for beginners.

Thanks to the openwork pattern, the shawl is wonderfully light and soft. It drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways.

This casual soul warmer / cardigan is a true wardrobe staple thanks to its classic, timeless design. Just slip it on, snuggle up, and feel cozy.

The pattern is simple and quick to work up. For the basic pattern, you only work into chain arches, so you can easily crochet this soul warmer while watching TV or chatting over coffee.

Beautiful shoulder bag / tote in natural tones.

This casual bag is a great everyday companion! Elegant thanks to its natural tones, classic and casual in shape, it goes with many outfits and is a real eye-catcher.

In the photos, you can see the embroidered front and the unembroidered back. Of course, you can embroider both sides or leave the bag “plain” — whatever you prefer.

This bouquet is perfect for a night in front of the TV—cutting out the individual flower petals takes a little time, but doesn’t require much focus.

All the flowers in this bouquet are made from photo cardstock; I used crepe paper for the center, the stem, and the stem leaves. The flowers are about 27 cm tall and easy to make.

Both the women's and men's zodiac sign sock patterns are suitable for watching TV

As a fitting choice for the season, I'd like to present Aries (03/21 - 04/20) here.

In just a few evenings in front of the TV, you can knit up such a great gift for an Aries in no time.

Knitting pattern for a cable-look blanket - no cable needle required

The pattern is worked using only knit and purl stitches and is easy to follow. The pattern includes both written instructions and a knitting chart.

I used Red Heart “Lovely Wool” or Rowan “Super Fine Merino” yarn. You’ll need about 350–400 grams for a baby blanket.
