No time left for a carnival costume? You can definitely still make this mask! It can be crocheted quickly from a few bits of leftover yarn. It’s not nearly as complicated as it might look. In the pattern, you’ll find a crochet chart as well as every round written out separately. You can decorate the mask however you like with sequins or rhinestones (like the black mask). Often, though, an edging made from glitter yarn is enough (red mask). But the mask is also very striking simply in white. Wrap it with matching strips of fabric—and your costume is ready!

Download the pattern here quickly and you’re ready to go!

To keep the hangover from getting you down too much after a wild Carnival party, crochet these funny clown egg cozies and egg cups beforehand—they’re sure to put you in a cheerful mood again. You can crochet them in an afternoon using leftover yarn.  By the way, they’ll keep you in a good mood not just during Carnival, but all year long!

Christmas is only just over? No matter—after Christmas is before Christmas!

Why not start crocheting the figures for a Nativity scene now?
Especially since the 3 Nativity figure patterns are currently reduced by a full 20%!
You'll need some time and peace and quiet to crochet them all anyway. This way, you can crochet 1–2 figures now and then throughout the year and have a beautiful, self-crocheted, completely individually designed Nativity scene by the end of the year. For materials, simply use leftover yarn you already have and let your creativity run free.
What are you waiting for? Download the patterns right away, and then you can get started anytime!
Holy Family, ox + donkey, poinsettia

Even though Rudolph - The Red Nosed Moose is a bit out of season, he’s simply fun to make, is currently on sale, and will definitely be finished in time for Christmas.

Without the red nose, he can also easily be crocheted as a cuddly toy and is big enough to hold a music box movement for a music box.

  Here’s the pattern

And now have fun crocheting!

Of course, there are polar bears in the summer too—even if they naturally love winter more! Björn would love to accompany you all year round as a keychain.

To crochet him, all you need is:
  • Leftover cotton yarn (125 m/50 g skein—Catania) in white, blue, and red
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • Stuffing
  • Black embroidery floss
  • A yarn needle for sewing
  • Pointed embroidery needle for embroidering the face
Have fun! You can find the pattern here!

Carlotta, the clown girl, grew up in the circus and would like to whisk you away into her magical world. She is about 28 cm tall and wears a glittery little dress with a ruffled skirt. Despite her smiling mouth, she also has a slightly melancholy expression.

Would you like to crochet Carlotta? Then you’ll need:
  • Colorful leftover cotton yarn (yardage approx. 125 m/50 g, e.g. Catania by Schachenmayr) or other leftover yarn of a similar thickness) in skin tone, purple,
    white
  • Leftover Rico Creative Bubble white iridescent (approx. 15 g)
  • Leftover Rico Creative Bubble silver
  • Leftovers of silver and black glitter yarn (e.g. Glitter by Gründl)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook
  • Polyester fiberfill
  • 1 thick sewing needle for weaving in ends and sewing the pieces together
  • 1 sharp embroidery needle for embroidering the face
  • embroidered eye appliqué, diameter 1 cm
  • 1 red pom-pom, diameter approx. 12 mm
  • white felt scrap
  • Scissors, glue
  • AND DON’T FORGET: THE PATTERN!

Knitting socks is always a good idea. If only it weren’t for the heel.
From now on, you’ll have fun knitting socks. With the mowi heel, it’s really easy.

I wrote the pattern for 3 needles to make it even easier. But it can also be easily adapted for a set of double-pointed needles.

In such a cozy, warm sleeping bag made of merino wool, baby will feel comfortable and secure. Since wool helps regulate temperature, it can be useful in any season.

This sleeping bag fits babies from approx. 3–12 months. Baby can even be changed in it while asleep.

Suitable for advanced beginners.

fun fringes for winter

-- to the pattern --

Cheerfully colorful fringes chase away winter.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes in detail, step by step how you can crochet this scarf yourself, even as a beginner . Only basic crochet skills are required.

For advanced crocheters , a crochet chart is also included.

The loop shown was crocheted with 200g McLana Jazz, color 23 (Bird of Paradise), length 240m/100g, and is 15cm high with a circumference of 80cm.

Still don’t have an idea for a Carnival costume? With this dog mask, you definitely won’t be recognized!

The dog mask mask is one size fits all. If it is too big or too small, the templates can be enlarged or reduced accordingly. The mask is quick and easy to make and can also be made without any problems by craft beginners.
