Dear users, dear authors,
The weekend is over, but this week is going to be wonderful here on Crazypatterns.
How are you all doing?
What are you up to?
How was your weekend?
How’s the weather?
What’s for breakfast / lunch / dinner?
Do you have any plans for the week or craft goals?
Let me know. :-)
Apart from a mild cold, I’m doing fine.
My husband is much worse off—he’s staying home sick this week.
Luckily, he’s an easy patient who doesn’t keep ringing the “bell” all the time. ;-)
The weather is gorgeous and inviting me out for a walk, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do now.
Afterwards, I’ll be working hard on new patterns. ;-)
Here, the spring weather is tempting us to go for walks and spend time in the garden. I’ve also decided to finally finish writing at least one pattern.
We’re invited over to our neighbor’s for a vegan dinner tonight.
For lunch, I had some spectacular spaghetti with tomato sauce :)
My spring scarf is coming along nicely.
Also, another stitch pattern has come to mind—I’m not sure yet what it will turn into, or whether I’ll just make it into a pattern that can be used for different projects.
We finally got our kitchen finished over the weekend. I’m so happy with the new cabinets—I can’t stop looking at them! This morning, we gave everything another thorough cleaning. My coat is coming along nicely; now I’m just knitting the hood, and then I still need to add the duffle coat fasteners. But I’m making those myself.
Today is a full-on day for me when it comes to laundry and such. Health-wise, I’m really feeling pretty awful, but I’ve been living with that for quite a while now. Yesterday I went to bed early because I couldn’t even sit anymore—my lower back and legs were hurting so much.
I got back from vacation on Friday. It was the third time in a row that my flight was delayed. This time, we’ll each receive 600 €.
Since the sun is shining so beautifully, I did some work in the garden for the first time today.
Other than that, I unpacked my suitcase, did the laundry—sorted through my vacation stuff, etc., etc.
Now I’ve gotten to my “UFOs,” sorted them out, taken notes, and am finally starting to work through them. I’m feeling optimistic. Then I’ll be posting some new patterns of mine soon.
Here in Vienna, the sun is shining and spring weather has arrived. I’m working through my yarn stash and enjoying the beautiful weather and mild temperatures. The first crocuses and snowdrops are already peeking out of the meadows, and everything is just wonderful. Still, everyday life goes on as usual, and work doesn’t stop. Deadlines aren’t exactly easy to reschedule, and things have been a bit hectic at work at times, so I’ve had to stay late. Hopefully things will be a little slower today.
