If Dad is a soccer fan, something crocheted for Father's Day is definitely welcome: The soccer mascot Tooorsten is sure to be a hit!

Crochet him in Germany’s colors or in the colors of your local club. Tooorsten is made of black pentagons and white hexagons that are sewn together. You’ll get a detailed diagram for that. The rest is child’s play.
I used cotton with a yardage of 125m/50g for Tooorsten. If you use thicker or thinner yarn, only the size will change.

If Mom is one of those people who always feels cold, she’ll definitely be happy about such a pretty heat pillow cover. The heart is crocheted from pink potholder yarn; you’ll need about 100 g of it. The front has a popcorn stitch pattern, which is explained in detail in the pattern, and the back is crocheted only with single crochet stitches. That way, by choosing which side faces the body, you can control how much heat the pillow gives off.
The heart measures about 20 x 20 cm.
