A cute little lamb is the perfect Easter gift!

Depending on the yarn you use, it will measure between 12 and 25 cm. Using thick plush yarn makes it especially soft and fluffy. Since it’s crocheted entirely in single crochet, you can easily manage even with the slightly tricky plush yarn—especially if you crochet it together with a thin cotton thread. The larger lamb can also be made into a musical toy.

For this design, you’ll also use a crochet hook after the knitting needles.

If you have some experience with a set of double-pointed needles, know knit and purl stitches, and can crochet relief double crochet stitches, making these booties will be pure fun.

Leftover wool or cotton yarn are both suitable. Depending on the yarn weight and needle size, the booties will have a sole length of 9–10.5 cm.

Hat with Shoulder Cape

This hat is knitted for children aged 1 ½ to 2 years with a head circumference of 46–48 cm. Ideal for the coming winter—no snowballs will fall down the back of the neck. I knitted it using “Schachenmayr – BRAVO.”   
Gauge using size 3.5 needles in stockinette stitch: 22 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm. Material: 100 g petrol blue and a small amount of gray. The PDF pattern includes step-by-step illustrations. Basic knitting skills are required; everything else is explained in detail. For experienced knitters, I’ve also included a short version of the pattern without pictures for printing.

The egg cozy shown is approx. 7 cm tall and was crocheted using about 10 g of cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun, LL 115 m/50 g).
